Awesome Speak/Pike/Lance whatever it's proper name this is one Awesome weapon for the price. I have thrown it dozens of times at a target in my backyard a plastic container. It does taken some oomph to throw this thing but it does fly well and penetrated the target, when, I hit it. It has yet to show signs it's falling apart. It looks great too. You can't beat it for the price

more of a pike Reviewed by Connor Embree on Oct 30, 2014   3 out of 5

this Is a good solid heavy duty PIKE the name is a bit misleading as it is not meant to be thrown I tried and its just far to heavy plus the head loosened up after the first throw. but I will say as a pike it is phenomenal

C crap commented that two spears caused the same person injury. UMMM....maybe you ought to stick to practice weapons. Anyway...I have had my Dragon for two years now. It leans against a wall next to the Celtic Spear. The Dragon, every time I look at that blade I shudder to think that I would ever have to use that against a human being. Look at the end of the main blade head....see the ends, how they are in reality Barbs. Let me tell you....if you or I have the unfortunate circumstance where we have to thrust that into a body of flesh. If the blade goes beyond the end, where the 'barbs' are, when you yank back your spear...well, a whole lot of that body's insides are coming out with it. one, animal or human, will survive a full frontal attack with this spear. have to get a shovel....yes, even in survival battle, you can not leave rotting corpse laying about. No no no....

Excellent Spear! Reviewed by Matthew on Aug 01, 2014   5 out of 5

This spear means business! It's heavy weight and metal all around, topped off with a pretty thick blade. The spear is very sturdily as well as eye pleasingly built. It's a great spear, all around.

For the price, this spear is an excellent choice. . It looks great. It's heavy. The blade arrives very sharp. You cannot go wrong. Some spear heads alone cost more than $30 at other websites. I am happy with my purchase.

Solid and Serious Reviewed by Jim Quinton on Apr 14, 2014   5 out of 5

This spear is beyond expectation. The blade was not at all loose, extremely sharp, and the shaft, though aluminum is a heavy gauge. The claw on the but end of the spear is very heavy and gives mass to the weapon. It comes in two pieces and simply screws together. Best way I found to do it as both ends have to perfectly align to join, is to stand the bottom half up in one hand and hold the other piece over it with your other hand, it makes it easier to see the alignment than if you tried to lay both pieces on the floor and join them together. I added thread lock to the threads so they don't loosen up. This weapon is not made to be thrown, rather used to lunge. The counter weight on the bottom makes it unbalanced and will hinder accuracy and range. Spears for the most part, with the exception of the Roman Pillion, were not made to be thrown but to keep the enemy at a distance and still be able to harm him. Once thrown, a spear can be picked up and used against its original owner. You will not be disappointed with this spear.
