Perfect tactical kukri Reviewed by Matt on Mar 02, 2015   5 out of 5

This thing is as thick or thicker than traditionally built kukris, and combined with a full tang that mostly guarantees it's durability. It's also extremely sharp combined out of the box, and that severe angle makes this thing a beast for chopping. The smaller than traditional size makes this a more viable knife option, whereas ghurka sized ones work better as machetes. The best of both worlds, and I love it! Also, a great companion for this one is the Boker Magnum folding Kukri for EDC.

Love it!!! Reviewed by Jace on Feb 24, 2014   5 out of 5

Just got the knife in and first thing i did was pull it out and run it down my arm to see if it would take any hair off. i now have a huge bald spot in the middle of my forearm. i love the feel, look, and weight of the knife. i can easily conceal it in my front pocket, hiding the handle with my shirt. ive bought a ton of stuff off of the website and this is by far the best buy. thank you budk

Simply the best Reviewed by Luis H. Sanchez on Dec 25, 2013   5 out of 5

This is the best companion I have ever had and carried on my back. Since I was in my country I had the custom of carry my knife, custom inherited from my grand father, a rancher man in Cuba, but I had never found the right knife to carry it in my back with comfort and concealed enough. This is the greatest for any job and for my daily companion.

Big chunk of steel Reviewed by Jerry Muns on Aug 10, 2013   5 out of 5

This is currently my favorite knife by far. It is big, thick, and heavy. This knife is great for big chopping jobs, and can easily remove limbs from trees. The design is smooth and feels very comfortable to hold. Holding this knife feels like you're holding a short sword. Totally awesome blade by Boker!!!!

A Heavyweight Thrower Reviewed by KT the Knife Thrower on Apr 05, 2013   5 out of 5

I have two sets of Wesley Hibben large Cloak throwing knives which is very similar in shape and length as the Boker Magnum Khucom but the Boker is about three times heavier. As such, this knife requires a more relax throw to slow its rotation and it hits very hard with this much weight. So now I can leave the mountain man Bowie at home and carry this knife instead. I realize most people don't throw their knives, so my knife throwing review is somewhat irrelevant. Okay, the Kydex sheath locks the knife too tight making it difficult to release when carried on the belt. The sheath could really use a tension adjusting screw. The knife comes out a little easier if it is carried on the side of the leg or upside down on a vest . It has a nice looking recurve blade to maximize slashing but it is as sharp as all of my Condor knives which are totally useless out of the box. While you could use it to baton wood in the field, you are limited to 3 inch logs due to the short blade length. It's also not a good chopper for that reason. The grind on my particular knife is curving to the right the entire blade length. You can actually see the tip bending slightly to the right. I decided not to return the knife since 440 won't hold an edge anyway and the tip and blade curving issues are just a few sharpening sessions away from being corrected. These are just minor flaws from a mass produced factory knife. It is still a five stars product for its low asking price.
