Hibben Bowie Reviewed by VL on Jun 17, 2014   4 out of 5

This is a great looking bowie! The handle is thick and fits my hand well. It is very sharp! It is lighter than I expected, but well balanced. Only problem is that the handle and the hilt are not exactly lined up. Could have been better. I expected a little more quality for the money.

A perfect outdoors knife. Light enough to pack around all day yet the forward kukri style blade makes it a very good chopper. Used it to clear some brush at my shooting range and its still rock solid and sharp. Thinking about getting another one just to leave in my boat.

This is my best looking bowie yet. United Cutlery and Gil Hibben need to know that this knife rattles when you slap it against your palm. That Chinese factory needs to do a better job. The blades needs to be soldered to the guard or something. It is still my best lookin' Bowie. A tight fit would make excellent.

Another Gil Hibben Great. Reviewed by Larry s. on Mar 06, 2014   5 out of 5

This knife is light weight but sharp and nice sized not small. Because of its weight it has great manuverability and not hard to handle. I am a big man and been handling knives all my life so a heavy knife this size wouldn't a big problem. When first got it I expected a little more weight to it, but because of its size and sturdinest it wouldn't make a difference. It has great cutting and chopping power slices through what needs to be done with no probs.Beautiful knife all the way.

Another Great Hibben Knife Reviewed by Daniel of Nebraska on Oct 14, 2013   5 out of 5

A wonderful knife, big and sharp as expected from the Master, made for big hands but not as heavy as I expected but an easy sell. I don't know if it is just me but I watched the movie four times and still never saw this knife once, doesn't matter, a great knife. Thank you, Daniel of Nebraska.

My first Gil Hibben collector blade. I am very pleased, and it will fit well in my Bowie collection. A handsome design.

This Bowie is lite weight an razor sharp. The edge is easy to maintain. It is a very Beautiful Bowie. However i would prefer a damascus blade.

On the fence Reviewed by Steve on May 24, 2013   4 out of 5

I just received this knife and I must say it is not the same quality as the other Hibben knives I own.The finish work on this knife I would give only 5 out of 10...there are still visible sanding marks on the pommel and the rounding on the pommel and guard is not complete, also the handle on the one I received is more square than rounded so it feels bulky in your hand. I ordered 2 of these so when the other one gets here I plan on comparing them. All this being said it is still a beautifully designed knife. I suggest you purchase this knife and decide for yourself as I am a ex knife maker and kind of picky. I would like to also recommend the Old West Toothpick :)
