I bought two of these, one as a gift for a co-worker, to use at the workplace and have already found them useful for reading small hard to see numbers located in high places. Overall, it's been a rewarding and helpful purchase and I'm glad I decided to try it out.

Just not worth the weight. Reviewed by Sean on May 28, 2015   1 out of 5

Was looking for a lighter-weight alternative to pack in place of binoculars, but this just isn't going to cut it. The monocular looks nice and seems well built in regards to waterproofing and zoom controls. The optics just aren't up to snuff. While it seems to have the magnification to match mid-grade compact binoculars, the optics clarity is so poor, the resulting image isn't discernible enough to make them worth packing the few ounces they weigh. At the price I paid, it wasn't much of a loss, but in this case, you get what you pay for. Wouldn't recommend these.
