Nice piece of simple defense Reviewed by Gunny81 on Feb 06, 2013   5 out of 5

Very decent affordable piece of defense weaponry. For only a few bucks its well worth it, and you more than get what you pay for. I don't see how you could possibly go wrong, or be disappointed unless your an idiot expecting beyond top notch quality for below substandard pricing.

awesome Reviewed by Doug Blocker on Feb 06, 2012   5 out of 5

Yeah, this is a awesome item. Also for only 4 bucks, yeah, buy a few, the quality is great, no problems with the assembly. It's small, but that's good, how you gonna carry a 14 lb, 8 foot long steel whip? Next people are gonna complain that it doesn't have pink tassels on the handle, lol. It's great people.

Whip Chain Reviewed by cranerat on Jan 22, 2012   2 out of 5

I ordered this chain whip thinking that it might be good to practice with before getting a heavier model for demonstrations. I have to admit I was quite disappointed with the product. Unfortunately I didn't look at the picture closely enough since normal whip chains of this type have 9 sections to them, this one only has 8. Not well made at all. The swivel on the handle is nothing more than a drilled hole crimped around a chromed, flattened and drilled nail. The links aren't welded closed either making this chain unsafe to be used with any actual force/speed. I' recommend going and purchasing a better whip chain in the first place, even if this one is only $4.

Very durable chain whip, and only $4.00!!! Reviewed by 10mm Glock Jedi on Jan 16, 2012   5 out of 5

Pulled this chain whip out of my delivered BudK shipment and was surprised at the weight of this Oriental style weapon. It looks to be well made and durable. I would hate to be on the receiving end of this martial arts weapon! All martial arts websites have this chain whip listed as a "soft" weapon because it is flexible, but I assure you that there is nothing "soft" about this weapon! I'm looking forward to watching some of my friends hit themselves in the head while attempting to swing this like a shoalin monk.

its intense Reviewed by Ryan Cale on Dec 24, 2011   5 out of 5

I threw it in my cart among other things because it's only 4 bucks, but it turned out to be my absolute favorite thing I ordered. It's a lot bigger and heavier than the picture makes it look, which is good. It's not a wimpy weapon. Also some people complain that the rings are not welded together, but I've been swinging it around for a while and it shows no signs of coming apart. Very sturdy. If you're about to place an order, throw one of these in as well, its only 4 bucks!

Nice! Reviewed by never lick a tazer on Dec 02, 2011   5 out of 5

Seems to be a quality item, though it is thinner than I'd thought it would be. However, after I did some research, I found out that that's the full size! Though it is thin, I found that it is effective when I hit myself with it accidentally. Swung with any speed it could do some damage, and swung in defense it could crack a skull. I may buy another one and give it to my friend who is lacking in intelligence. He will find the full extent of this weapon's potential.

Buy more than 1, because your friends will want them Reviewed by Jake Robinson on Aug 26, 2011   5 out of 5

Sturdy, easy to use, and really cool. Keep it in your pocket and pull it out to freak out your friends and family. Great value. The metal rings are really durable. The quality of this chain is much higher than I expected. I showed it to a coworker and he immediately tried to buy it for $10. The only drawback is that the handle is a little smaller than I would like, but I have really large hands. But no complaints for something this cool that's less than $4.

I have had two of these whips for four years now and have used both of them a lot and both are still in excellent condition. Worth the buy

This is a pretty good chain for $4, I had to try it. I did sharpen the tip though, and it is heavy, this would make a good gift.
