I cant believe that you can still get these little quality knives at a low price. Same quality, design, looks as the ones I had as a teen.

I'm glad I ordered this knife. I've always wanted a Barlow knife. They cost twice as much on eBay. The knife handle scale is brown plastic. But, I wasn't expecting bone for $5. Check out the Leather Sheath BudK offers for $1.99. (BKD135 IHEA Brown Leather Sheath) This Barlow knife fits perfectly in that sheath.

Barlow Knife Reviewed by George Tribble on Mar 16, 2013   5 out of 5

I had a Barlow knife as a child and loved it, I bought one and gave it to my grandson, he loves it too. I told my wife about how much I love it as a child and she ordered it for me. I really enjoy having another one like my childhood knife.

Cheaply made! Reviewed by Tom on Nov 27, 2012   1 out of 5

My father has had an original Jackmaster Barlow since he was 17. He has used his until the blade was worn down to look almost like a toothpick. I bought 4 of these to replace the one he has used for 40 years. In 3 weeks of normal use, the first fell to pieces. The second didn't even make it a week before the small blade actually snapped. The third actually lasted a little more than a month before the grip panels both fell off, followed by the "Barlow" nameplate. And he's now onto the 4th. I can't say that I'm suprized that a $5 knife doesn't last long, but i mean COME ON! Schrade, I'm dissapointed. Raise your quality standards please.
