Great Deal Reviewed by Scott Dow on Dec 19, 2015   5 out of 5

I really like this knife. It is well made, and a lot thicker than I expected for the price. This knife will stand up to whatever you want to use it for. The sheath leaves a bit to be desired, but all in all, this is a great knife for the price.

Awesome Side-Kick for a Cook Reviewed by Kevin on Mar 28, 2015   5 out of 5

This was one of the gifts I received from my secret santa this past holiday season. I did not expect much at all from this, but it has been pulling through very well. I am a cook and use it for breaking down boxes, opening stubborn bags, etc. Some modifications I have made: replaced nylon handle with para cord, lined sheath with synthetic leather, and cut off the velcro knife hold-down thing (snagged the knife too many times if i needed it quickly). If it could get any better, the striker slot is the PERFECT size to hold a regular Sharpie for quick access.

price is right Reviewed by Will on Aug 21, 2014   4 out of 5

Tough little knives. Almost a whole minimalist survival kit on your belt.I did, however, replace the cheap nylon cordage of the handle with paracord, and added a piece of hacksaw blade to the pouch as a striker for the fire starter, and put a piece of leather shoe lace in the bottom of the sheath, so the point of the blade wouldn't penetrate it. At this price you can afford to be a little creative, and end up with a really neat, handy belt companion that's not big enough to scare other hikers.

Good for the value Reviewed by Jeremy on Jul 12, 2014   4 out of 5

I got 2 of these knives and I think they're pretty good. Not too sharp out of the box, but easily fixed, the sheath isn't too bad as far as nylon sheaths go. The fire-starter functions decently well, but the pocket for it was a bit loose, so I take the lanyard on the fire-starter and wrap it around the velcro loop for the blade to make sure it doesn't fall out. The blade itself looked pretty cheap, the black color looks like it was just painted on, and after batoning just one log, some of the paint was rubbed off showing the silver color of the blade underneath. That aside the knife itself functions very well and the nylon cord on the handle is pretty tight and didn't shift around while I was using this knife. Ultimately: a good little knife to have for a camping trip, and for the price it's a good deal!

Great and Cheap Reviewed by Dillon on Jul 02, 2014   5 out of 5

I had this a couple years ago before I moved, and it was just an amazing little knife. The fire starter works great and all that, either way, with or without the cord wrapped on the handle, I put it through a lot of crap and it pulled through, above and beyond. It will never break or bend. Slight discoloring in spots of the knife most used, but still works perfectly. Came decently sharp, but I would recommend sharpening it every once in a while. Good balance, good for some throwing. You should have no regrets, great buy!

Mighty Minny Reviewed by Kevin on Jul 02, 2014   4 out of 5

Good small all purpose knife. It skins and fillets well and the grooving on the back worked well scaling my fish. I ground down the tip of the striker to be able to use it as a small pry bar to open rimmed cans, etc. Keeping one and giving one as gift.

Good, Sturdy Knife Reviewed by Franklin on Apr 26, 2014   4 out of 5

Nice piece of steel for the money. Didn't come too sharp, but that's easily fixed. The firestarter is perfectly functional. Sheath is a little cheap, but again not terrible for the money. Would recommend.

Great little knife Reviewed by Steve on May 04, 2013   5 out of 5

Perfect short knife to have in/on your camping or hunting backpack. Stays sharp, and cuts and carves wood well. And for the price, it can't be beat.

good knife, but not for sparking Reviewed by David on Apr 29, 2013   3 out of 5

I like the knife, but it doesn't make sparks well with the included ferro rod. I use a piece of standard steel hacksaw blade, and put it in the rod pocket.
