I ordered 2. These were my first foray into a folding karambit. Spring is strong enough to pop one handed with a little practice. One of my knives, though, had a tendency of "over-opening", and the liner-lock bar would overshoot, so the knife wasn't safely locked open. The other didn't have this problem. It looks like the manufacture of the back edge of the blade that interacts with this bar is inconsistent, and was filed/milled too far down on one of the knives. But for the price you can't expect high performance. As a self-defense folder I would look elsewhere.

For the price, this thing is a steal! Spring isn't lightning fast but very effective. Wasn't super sharp out of the box but some quick honing and she took hair quite easily. Sturdy feel, and nice thickness. The rubber texture can get caught up on fabric when using the pocket clip. Haven't been through any heavy testing with it yet, but it will be my new EDC for sure. All in all, very glad I bought this blade.
