I feel this to be a quality replica with a few flaws. It certainly looks like the M96, and as far as weight goes I can't say, never held the real thing. It does have a heft to it though. The safety does not move, but the slide does. When the slide is pulled back, it brings the hammer into firing position and the trigger releases it. It is full metal, save for the grips. The grips are a tough plastic. Flaws: The adjustable sights, or that piece that can be seen sticking straight up in the stock photo can get loose and floppy. The gun also has fairly weak internals. After excessive dry firing, the spring confining the hammer broke away. This leaves the hammer free to swing around, and it won't swing back up to hit the slide. This being said, the gun isn't designed to be dry fired excessively. It's a pretty nice replica, made by Denix. Believe me, you're not going to find better cheaper. If you're looking for a better replica, try tripling the cost. For the money, this is a good replica by my book.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Great for a more authentic-looking Han Solo cosplay....(Come on, I can't be the only one thinking it.) Much less damaging than finding a real broomhandle and modifying it to take on the Han Solo look, this replica is perfect for the job. Takes some work to get it just perfect, but it definitely gets more looks than the cheap plastic models flying around the convention circuits.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Simply AMAZING. It looks, sounds, feels, and weighs just the same as the original firearm. I got this to use as a movie prop and its going to work wonders on film. The only drawback however is that the loading mechanism is completely solid so I cant load a stage mag in so its going to appear unloaded. Other than that flawless.
