Gil Hibben Expendables Bowie Knife with Sheath
The Expendables is a 2010 hard-hitting action/thriller movie about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers. Master knife maker Gil Hibben designed this bowie for 2010 Expendables movie. This cutlery masterpiece offers a stabilized synthetic ivory handle accented by the gold-plated blade catcher and guard which are reminiscent of the styling of original bowies. Expendables artwork is featured on the handle and the gold-plated guard offers cast star designs on both ends. The classic 14” blade is constructed from polished stainless steel. Included is a custom leather sheath with Hibben Knives logo.

Man, what a knife to me it's the best bowie knife I have ever seen or had. I have been a knife collector for around 10 years or more, and this bowie is my favorite it was actually a gift from my daughter because she know's how I love knives. This Knife is very cool, Excellent Blade. But the Sheath does not allow the knife to fit in correctly. I had wet and form the sheath at least 3 times to get the knife to fit in correctly. Overall: Excellent Knife, Bad Sheath

the knife is a work of art, just beautiful, hefty, not cheap in any way. the problem is with the sheath..it smells very musty. kept it outside for 2 days but did'nt help. i had to trash the stinky packaging. UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE SHEATH. COME ON BUD-K HELP OUT. THANKSWould you recommend this to a friend? Yes

The sheath with mine is so tight I cant even get it get the knife in it. First knife I ever got that I couldn't get in the sheath. The knife itself is a thing of beauty.

A wonderful Bowie in all regards. Very sharp and a needle point. Nice fit and finish with the exception that the butt of the handle could have been buffed out to remove the MOLDING seam in the nice faux Ivory handle material. The artwork isn't as clear as I would have liked and the sheath will require wetting and forming. Sheath is too narrow at the opening to allow the knife to be sheathed. Thickness of blade and parry strip won't let it fit as is. These problems still don't take away from the fact that this is a 5 STAR knife. This quality of knife should have came with a better sheath!
