I have dozens of this type of knife, and 98% of them are from BUDK. This knife has just blown me away, I've had it for weeks now and I'm still in awe at the sheer beauty of this piece. When you open it, it snaps to attention with authority, and I've found that you better have a secure hold on it or it will jump out of your hand when you do. Just a few mins with a Fine side of a sharpening stone, and I can honestly use the term 'Razor Sharp'. The only con...and it's minor, but worth noting. It opens a little too easy. There have been times just dropping it, or a good bump will send the blade flying out. Remember, I said it snaps to attention? Not a joke. It means business. The BUDK price is more than reasonable, get both if you can. The pearl, and the Abalone inlays. I'm going to try and see if I can't tame it a little concerning the 'opens too easy' aspect. I'll let you know. -Mick J-Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
