Reviewed by GJ from Fresno, CA on 04-Apr-2014A fabulous Bowie knife!!

This knife is everything the previous reviewers have stated. I've wanted one for months and was very happy when it was restocked. The feel, build and weight are exceptional, and the appearance is flawless. It came quite sharp out of the box too. I've got knives that cost much more that don't compare to this bowie.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Got the knife a couple of weeks ago, I like to "field test" all my knives. I went out and chopped wood with this knife, and it held together well with no damage, and stayed sharp. What more can a guy ask of his knife. It's great looking, tough, and affordable. worth easily 3 times the asking price.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Reviewed by Tom Homer from Indianapolis, Indiana on 01-Mar-2013BIGFOOT EXPEDITION KNIFE
Rating5 star5
I received this knife five days after ordering it on line. Thanks Bud K for your fast service! This is, without a doubt, the best Bowie style knife that I have bought from Bud K or for that matter from anywhere! It is built super strong, sharp as a razor (shaved hair off my arm) and simply one beautiful knife. The blade is thick and heavy with full tang construction and the handles are connected together with brass pins with absolutely no wiggle or play of grips or guard. The quality far surpasses what I have seen coming out of Pakistan in the past. I am going on a Bigfoot expedition in June and this is the knife that I am taking with me and it will suffice in bear country, too! However, everything I have good to say about this knife I can't say about the sheath, unfortunately! The sheath is not made for a heavy duty knife, thin leather, flimsy, and will not last very long. I am going to have a new sheath made that will be more functional and worthy of this Bowie big boy. This knife is a guy buy, definitely!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

What I can tell you is this knife is worth big bucks and surely not the price we can buy it for through a Budk catalog. The weight the look is of a much higher priced knife. Do yourself a favor and pick up 2 or 3 you will love every inch of this knife. What a gift it will make WOW. Lark ShoptawWould you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Gorgeous work on this one, a real work of art...but at the same time, razor sharp...very thick blade. Lighter than the Outlaw by quite a bit, but feels no less sturdy and reliable. A great, great deal!

Reviewed by Wallace from Texarkana, Tx on 22-Jan-2013Helluva knife!
Rating5 star5
I purchased this piece of beautiful brutality a few months ago. Pictures don't do this knife justice. The blade is curved gracefully and sharp. RAZOR sharp. I took this beast out on a hunting trip and hacked down some saplings, did some serious baton work splitting firewood, and abused this knife as much as possible. The tip is still intact and so is the edge. I haven't had to sharpen her yet! I don't know what the fuss is about the Outlaw Bowie, this knife is just the right size and every bit as durable. I forsee this knife being a lifelong friend of mine. The sheath leaves a bit to be desired, but its still a good sheath. The extra length on the belt loop is to allow for movement when you're climbing or sitting. Overall, a really impressive buy. I'm a Timber Rattler fan for sure.Would you recommend this to a friend? This knife is solidly built, and well put together! The hardwoode handle is so solid, the wood almost feels petrified! The blade is huge and mean looking! Definitely could be used as a working man's knife! Crocodile Dundee would hold it up and proudly say - "Ahh! Now that's a knife"!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
