I bought this to go with all the other stacked leather handle knives I have. It is well made for the price. It came sharp but not ME sharp. It is light and very quick. I have cut some brush with it and know I had some bad hits. The sword did not break, or bend. Very good for the price. Get two and go crazy with one. It the most fun you will have for $30.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Do not buy this product. It is cheaply made and will fall apart as you pull it out of the sheath. There is a small weak weld about an inch or so into the handle from the blade and will crack as soon as you draw it for the first time or if you strike something. Also the edge on this blade is pretty garbage not sharp at all, not even remotely close to it. Does look good for a wall piece if it survives being opened. Other than that look somewhere else.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

The sword is well balanced and feels good in hand, How ever the sheath is for crap, If you hadto draw the sword quickly to defend your self. you would be seriously injured or dead, The sword hangs up on the porely made sheath, sheath should be made from a kidex materal,Would you recommend this to a friend? Let me start out by saying I LOVE BUDK and I spend alot of money with this company but today is the first time I have ever written a review. This is junk as a working sword. The first time I used it was on a 1 inch sappling and the handle broke in half. It is not full tang and I do believe it was glued on. With that said if you are buying it as a wall hanger then by all means do so because it is well worth hanging on the wall to look at. In closing in my opinion it is a beautiful piece of junk.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

I have this sword and LOVE IT - you can not come close to the quality on this sword for the money anywhere! The sheath is not up to par but they have to skimp somewhere to get to these prices. THe sword alone is worth double the selling price. Goes great on the wall with my Ka-Bar collection! Thanks BudKWould you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I bought this sword for my Dad as a Christmas present because he was a Marine. When it came the retention snap was broken out so I called Bud K and they sent me a replacement and a shipping label to send the defective one back? I don't know how well it will hold an edge and it don't matter because I bought this as a collectors item and my Dad will never use it it is a conversation piece. I am very happy with this purchase and with Bud K for the fast way when I called ant told them what was wrong the got me another one right out to me.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I didn't expect much from a 30$ sword, but I was still disappointed. I can deal with a bad edge since I usually sharpen blades myself anyway. What I don't like is when a seeming full length push tang design based off the ever-reliable Ka-Bar design snaps at the handle, and then I take it apart to find out if it's what I've been seeing a lot lately, and it was. The tang only goes a short way into the handle, where there it is then badly welded to a same thickness bar so that it can look like it's true to the Ka-Bar design where the end of the tang is visible from the end. I am fine with the lack of edge, I'm fine with the bad steel if it's 30$, I'm even fine with the blades warping being clearly noticeable. What I don't like is yet another attempt from a blade company to make something look better than it is, while also taking a famous design from one of the dwindling numbers of good knife producers, and mocking it. I've seen multiple other comments on the handle breaking, well this is the reason why. It's a bad, intentional, and deceptive flaw that would probably not be much more expensive if just simply fixed and made one solid piece of steel. It's one more reason that when looking at new blades and other items online, it's always a better idea to take the negative reviews more seriously than the reviews of those that could be more easily fooled.Would you recommend this to a friend?
