At first glance the sword looks neat! I like the k-bar type grip/handle, but it stops there. The blade is poorly made for use and the edge is worthless. This is suppose to be a copy of the officer sword carried in WWII? It's a nice show piece, but don't expect to get any serious use out of it.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

I liked the look and feel of it. So, I took it out and tryed it on some black berry brambles. On about the fifth swing it broke about two inches up into the handle in the tang section. The tang is a thin bar not likely to stand up to any actual use. It is to bad because the balence is very nice, the leather handle is great. It is like a K-bar gone sward. Except it is not made for actual use.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

The sheath may not be the greatest, but the sword is a bargain. I like the length, not too short, not too long. I came with a nice edge and I like the feel of the stacked leather handle. Feels good in your hands.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a nice sword. It has a good balance, the blade is sharp, and I think it is well-designed except for one thing, it is about 18 inches too short. Overall, I like it.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Rating4 star4
This is a very cool item. It looks great and the quality is excellent for the cost. You cannot expect to go out and chop down trees with this. It isn't a $300 dollar machete, it's a cool sword that would be completely functional as a self defense weapon or a collectable.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I cannot emphasize this enough. Its a decent looking design, but the very first time I tried it out on a bush, the handle snapped off! Also the sheath is terrible, if you are not super careful, the sword will go right through the side.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

This is better than we expected. The Sword is very sharp, but the sheath could have been of leather, rather then woven nylon. Still it's one of a kind and we are sure it won't last too long for sale! Get it while you can! Peace!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I just Received My WWII Soldier sword in the mail... I like the blade design, the handle looks great.. I tried the blade on a shoe box and it looks like it cuts with a blunt force style, the tip easily slides through a box with very little force applyed.. I think i'll keep it !Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Reviewed by Gerald Kimbley from Texas on 04-May-2014Marines Never carried this
Rating1 star1
They are misrepresenting this sword. There was no such thing as this sword, it is something they made up to make money. This is a bad copy of the trusted K-Bar knife all of us Marines carried. The Marine NCO sword and the Marine officers swords, were the only two swords Marines carried, and they have been cerimonial for years.Would you recommend this to a friend? No
