Ninja Swords

What is a Ninja Sword? The name ninja sword was given to the common ninjato sword which was used in feudal Japan. These swords were similar to the Samurai sword, but because the ninjas had little money to afford sword making supplies, this swords were often made of lesser steels. Ninjato are believed to be the inspiration for the wakizashi and chokutō type swords.

Chinese Hook Swords

Otherwise known as "tiger hook swords," these martial arts weapons have a blade similar to that of the jian, but usually thicker and possibly not sharpened, with a prong or hook near the tip. The hand guards are large like those of butterfly swords. Hook swords are most often used in pairs, the hooks of the weapons may be used to trap or deflect other weapons.

    One look at these out of the box and I loved them. The handle has an excellent grip and it fits my hand real nice. However, the handle seems clunky compared to the blade a little. It's not too bad though. Also the blade is very thin, but at the same time, it is very felxible and sharp. I wouldn't use them for throwing. The swords are also extremely light, perfect for a ninja. I highly recommend them.
