The wire wrapped handle is surrounded by the cast metal dragonhead guard and pommel. The dragon's talons extend down from the guard allowing the bowie to rest on his feet. Must have for collectors! The detail on the dragon is nicely done. The chain handle is nice and durable. It is *very* sharp. The tabletop display stand is pretty cheap. The screw wanted to go through the whole pieces that the sword rests on, which would dull/damage the blade when resting. Overall: Great price, worth it. I suggested it to a friend. Awesome design. Perfect collection piece.
