These were great some people though either didn't read or pay attention to what the description says about its not meant to be thrown (but can be) tomahawk in the name is just the brand but the hatchet filled its purpose as a hatchet by my mountaineer standardsWould you recommend this to a friend? got this tomahawk while getting other hatchets and throwing axes so wasnt really paying attention to the size so when i had opened up the pakage and saw a little axe i was like wtf. I endded up breaking the case as soon as i opened it so i was a little disappointed in that but i went out side and sharpened a few twigs and decided to throw it and to my amazment the sucker stuck on the first throw so i threw another and another and they both stuck unfortunatly i had lost the paracord on the third throw so i wrapped in electrical cord and it works great actually just bought 3 more just to use as throwing axes -great buy id sayWould you recommend this to a friend? A very good buy. Have shown it around to Knife people. considered sturdy. Paracord handle is great. It's used the same as having a knife with a 550 cord handle.Would buy again.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This was my first purchase.Along with 2 Cavalry swords and a Sawback Machete, this Tomahawk Axe was probably the best thing i ever purchased. Not that its much of a problem, but after a few throws the back tip paint got scratched but it was easy to repaint. Nice for throwing but that's about it. The nylon sheath sucks, it broke in about a week. The cord wrapped handle sucks, it broke after throwing it a few times.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

These things are pretty cool! Im just starting out throwing tomahawks and it actually sticks pretty good, but the only complaint I have is that the nylon cord handle got really loose on mine and I have to find something else to make a grip on this thing, any suggestions?
