Great buy. Bought it for $6.00 (special). The blade was sharp but hard to deploy right out of the box, but after 20+ deployments the blade started to loosen up. Bigger & heavier than my other knives, but feels comfortable. I would suggest roughing up the blade spur to provide leverage when opening. My finger kept slipping when it was wet and took me several attempts before it opened. Overall a good knife for everyday use.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

It is a really nice knife, it is, for $10 you can't do much better. Except on Budk. for $15 there is a licensed U.S.M.C. knife that doesn't have screws falling out. If you have the tools to tighten the screws (common stuff) then there isn't a problem. I love the weight, the ease of cleaning, the ease of sharpening, the decent edge retention. At the same time, UC3020 is a knife for $5 more that takes no work to maintain (at the very least much less) and comes slightly sharper. So I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, I would recommend the other knife to a friend.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

Blade snaps out quick and locks every time. Everything about this knife is awesome. It hasn't left the house, yet. I like it too much to beat on it. Nice weight to it. Heavier than most knives that size. I'm really glad I ordered it.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Reviewed by r from va on 17-Dec-2013nice blade shape

thought that I finally found a spring assisted pocket knife with a true 4" plain blade with a decent shape for working around the yard/garden. took a great edge and was a great shape for breasting out snows for the week that it survived. handle gets real slippery with oil or blood. unfortunatly after cutting (not hacking) 2 small heads of cabbage yeasterday the blade overextended and bent the stop post and now will neither open or close all the way. gona go back to my meyerco and it's too short bladeWould you recommend this to a friend? Reviewed by Rick from NJ on 20-Nov-2013Nice Look
Rating4 star4
The lines and look of the knife are very attractive and actually provide good grip strength. The spring activation is quite strong and the lock has worked well thus far. The only issue I have observed is that the set screws at the top and bottom have become loose over only a 2 week usage. This has allowed the glass break to become loose as well as loosened the pivot point of the blade to allow the blade lock to go past the blade and get stuck on the side. Albeit a lot of usage, it should not have become loose this fast. But for the money, and a small allen wrench, it was worth it.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

its really good knife, pretty sharp. use it for regular purposes [rope cutting, etc.] the one thing though is that the safety catch broke within a week. it now will not lock... I'm very disappointed with that. another thing is that the glass breaker came loose and cannot use it anymore.Would you recommend this to a friend? No
