The swords are a good deal for the price. They came very dull however, it took a lot of sharpening to get a good edge on them.

Pretty good swords but one of them became really flimsy after a few swings. Sharp and worth it but flimsy.

When I first got these out of the box, I was a bit disappointed that the handles were plastic, but I got used to it and when my friend came over to "hang out" he saw them and immediately ordered a pair for himself. He was completely fine with the plastic but wanted to sharpen them. Later he Invited me over to destroy cardboard boxes with them, and the worst part of that was picking up the shredded cardboard. Overall, for twenty bucks, a great buy and definitely recommended.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Got my swords today. I was expecting a worse grade of plastic but was pleasantly surprised by what I got. They chopped through everything I put in front of them. Just to screw around I took the handle off of one and ground the end down, then gave it a new handle with a full tang. Also you have to sharpen the blade. If you have a bench grinder this is only about an hour of work, including binding the wood and wrapping the leather. Overall I'm very pleased both with the product and what I created from the product.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

First I would like to say these are not fully functional swords. However, for twenty dollars I believe they are worth buying. The Handel is made of plastic , as well as the pomel and guard. They seem to be relatively sturdy. The guard does have a layer of steel on the blade side. The blade is solid enough for what it is meant for , and comes unsharpened. The sheath is made of nylon webbing, I find it to be servicable but not of a particularly hi quility. This sword is historicaly acurite as for as looks goes, which is all you should expect from a sword in this price range. Over all this is a very good item and is worth the money. I would recommend this to someone who is interested in roman history and is on a budget.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
