Anime Fantasy Sword With Scabbard

This sword was my first of many purchases here, and I was so happy when it came. It's a big, heavy two-hander, with blunted edges. The tip, however, makes quick work of cardboard. The way the guard is designed makes fingering easy, allowing even greater control of the blade. The scabbard is a work of art in and of itself. Now, when mine came, the little metal band had slid off, exposing a spot of glue on the otherwise flawless flat black wooden scabbard. After a little superglue though, it seems good as new. I don't believe I'm doing the sheath justice, as this sword looks just as amazing within the scabbard as it does drawn. But let's talk a little more about the blade. It's a little forward heavy for some tastes, but for chopping people up, and for an anime sword, I think the physics are fine. Speaking of anime, the reason I bought this blade was because I've seen the foam version of this sword in my friends' house, and I thought they'd like the steel version a little better. They love it. An amazing replica.

I'm a long time buyer of swords from True Swords. So when I saw my coveted SAO swords on this website, it was an insta buy for me. The detail on the Elucidator is amazing. The weight to it is superb; it's heavy but it's not overwhelming. My last 3 purchases were nowhere near as heavy as Elucidator/Dark Repulser. And the color and materials are both on point. If I could rate this sword higher than a 5, I would. This purchase is a no brainer if you're a SAO fan.

I love the sword. I received this as a Christmas present, and I'm still just as excited that I have it today. Good balance, nice weight, and the details are all clean and correct. The scabbard is so-so, but that doesn't take away from the blade.

This sword is an exact replica of kritos sword an it's heavy an has all of the spec's. Wow I'm so suprised how well designed it is. An I'm being honest this is not a worker I'm just a fan of series and budk and I'm blown away!

For $60 I was not expecting much from this sword, but when it arrived those expectations were essentially thrown out the window. Immediately out of the box I could tell this was a well made sword. The centers of percussion are correct, the balance is much better than expected, and the overall quality of craftsmanship far exceeds what I had expected. I will absolutely be shopping here again.

I love this sword, very few places can you find such well made sao swords, I've seen many, but never this well made. The Price is remarkable as well, the cheapest sword I could find on sites like eBay and Craigslist that have the sword listed at $150+! This is my first time buying and will be buying another one of your swords in the near future.

Awesome sword but I think personally it should of come with a Backstrap, you know to put it on your back like the show

I ordered this sword, the first version of the dark repulser (the one that's currently $67.99 on here) and the black version of the dark repulser all at once, shipping said I could expect my order in 7 to 10 days, however it arrived in only 4 with all three blades so props to trueswords for that! The packaging was done very well, I did order package protection and they didn't disappoint in that regard. This sword is pretty awesome, I really can't say I'm disappointed with it at all and the version I got was the exact one in the picture, with the "white cross" on the gaurd, not the one with four black stars on the guard that was previously offered. So anyone concerned with that can be at ease, the picture is an accurate representation. It's heavier than I anticipated, a bit heavier than an average sword but anyone purchasing should keep in mind this is a display item NOT an actual sword, call it a wallhanger, SLO (sword-like object) whatever, this is not meant for actual "combat" remember that. It's also pretty blade-heavy so it feels a little heavier than it actually is. To put it into perspective, It's heavier than a real katana which is designed to be blade heavy for cutting power. The center of balance is roughly 4 3/4 inches away from the gaurd. I don't know the actual "tang" of the sword but if I had to guess I'd say it's 3/4 tang. Again, this isn't an actual weapon, can't stress that enough. The blade is completely dull which some people might not like but I don't mind, if you really wanted you could sharpen it. "Made in china" is stamped in small print on one side of the blade, not a big deal really but others might find that off-putting. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase, my blade doesn't "wobble" or "rattle" in the hilt like many other reviews I've read, however you can tell that it moves around slightly if you were to swing it with a lot of force, when I was performing test swings the metal piece above the gaurd on the blade did seem to "tap" the blade and produce a ringing sound, again minor issue. There's really not much else to say other than this is awesome and if you're a fan of SAO you'll fall in love with this thing, even if it isn't "battle ready" I use that term very loosely here. 10/10 would buy again, thank you trueswords from a satisfied customer.

it was well above what I expected to get, really well made if your not looking for a fighting piece. The blade has NO edge but is well made enough you could use it to defend yourself. Felt a bit heavy at first but without hitting things I can swing both it and the "blue repeller" around accurately. So, dual wielding would be possible completely with these.

I like the overall weight of the sword. A slight rattle between the guard and blade but not an issue. My only complaint is the sheathing. It's very light and not very sturdy. The gray slip over the sheath came off in the first five min of me opening the package. Just gotta glue it back on I guess.

First of all would like to point out that the review below mine is most likely a troll review or a review posted on the wrong product page. Now to the sword, the sword itself came extremely quick in just six days so props to a fast delivery. It is a very nice replica considering its price and pretty accurate to the anime except for the obvious cross dud which should actually be in a X shape. ( To be truthful I actually prefer and believe the previous version (4 star version) was more accurate because at least the stars were arranged in a X shape) The overall build of the sword is pretty compact and should not easily fall apart. The paint job is pretty well done except for a few blemishes and very minor interrupted paint spots; also should mention that unlike displayed in the picture the edges of the blade and guard are not white but silver or just unpainted. (So more like the one shown in the video)The blade came unscathed and unscrathed except for the tip of the blade which is slightly scratched. Also the scabbard is nicely made and painted and feels very durable and will do its job of protecting your sword. On a side note my sword did not come covered in grease unlike a lot of the others who purchased this sword. To those who didn't know True Swords ship their swords (or most) covered in grease to protect the sword from damages and rusting during transport, though in this case it wasn't covered in grease where because the current version is stainless steel so it would've been very hard to rust or the because the sword was packaged within two boxes with styrafoam and etc. to protect it so there was no need for the grease, anyhow the sword came in near mint condition so all is well. Overall the sword meet my expectations very well with only a few minor "defects" making it a very nice replica and purchase to which I would definitely recommend for others to buy.

Though I'm new to throwing I found this knife easy to throw after I fgirued out how. I stand about 12-13 ft away and throw by the tip keeping the blade and arm in line with each other. In other words don't bend or flick your wrist. The knife will spin as slowly as possible this way which is more forgiving. It will rotate 1/2 turn in about 12 ft. I tried the new spin technique but no luck. As for the knife it spins nice and slow because it's big. Yes, it's a bit of a challenge for small people but my wife can throw it just as well as I can. The blade is very strong and sharpens easily after you ding it on rocks. It would take a lot to bend it. I have batoned with it to split wood and it is tough. The grip is ok but not the best as a replacement for a general purpose knife. Will work in a pinch or survival situation. I wish the rope was orange as it's hard to find if you miss the target. The sheath is decent. I pulled the strap off because it stayed in the sheath well without it.I was hiking with some friends kids and I stopped near a dead tree, pulled out my knife and whipped it into the tree with a solid thud. The kids all went Whoa! Can I try? Knife throwing is a fun hobby but please don't throw at live trees. Respect the forest and teach your kids to respect it too. There are plenty of dead trees around. Get three, it's more fun. Thanks.

I dont know maybe It's just the one that I got but where there's suposed to be a black cross in a white circle at the hilt there's just four stars :/ other than that though beautiful sword, it's the first one I've gotten and defiantly not the last

omg just got it in the mail. the wait is worth it. this is the best replica that i have ever seen of this sword. feels sturdy, does not shake in hilt. is not as heavy as i was expecting it which is not bad nor good. just lighter than the other comments were making it seem. the sword itself is very well balanced and seems to be right in the middle of a one handed to two handed sword. in the anime the sword is designed to be two handed but kirito is a bad ass and goes dual wielding. warning, yes the hilt is not the same as depicted above as the accurate markings below the hand guard, but the company changed it to be more accurate. please if u have any doubts look at the pic of ausuna's rapier next to this elucidator. the new markings are more accurate. amazing replica, none better than this!

It looks amazing im a huge fan of the show and its unbelievably cheaper then anywhere else. But the plus above the hilt should be an x and as a lover of the show it just bugs the crap out of me other then that this a a steal totaly worth it

I love the sword. It has a nice weight to it and the detailing is nice. I look forward to buying the Dark Repulsor when i get the chance so i can wield both blades.

Ohh BTW sao fans. Remember how much kirito was talking about wanting heavy swords. I'm glad it has some weight to it. Technically it makes it all the more authentic.

This sword is a lot smaller than I imagined.I don't really have any problems but the sword is really heavy and would be a two hand sword in real life even though it's a one handed in the show. Everything is made of steel right up to the handle. Also they stamped made in china right on the blade. I thought this was the 50th floor boss drop which would have been a bit more creative. Other than that it is really awesome blade for SAO fans.

The sword is wonderful. The sword is wonderfully made and excellent add to my collection. UPS however is very crappy left my three swords on the side of my drive way in the snow. Was not happy.

Will you ever get any of these swords made out of carbon steel?

Excellent. Just excellent. This sword was everything I thought it would be. And to inform those of you who don't know about this sword, it is from Sword Art Online and it is called the "Elucitator", one of two swords wielded by the main character, "Kirito". No complaints about the blade, a little sharpening and it was perfect. It looks perfect sitting next to my custom-made replica of the sword Falchion (from Fire Emblem). Very nice work.

So I just got this sword today, and all I have to say is, WOW! This is one intimidating sword and it's pretty accurate to the anime. Aside from the 4 star duds above the handle, that should really be sort of an "X" symbol instead. It's nowhere near sharp but if you know how to sharpen a sword, this can be one lethal weapon. I will say it is definitely heavier than it appears. My version is 440 Stainless Steel, which i predicted would be heavier than I thought. It is also a little shorter in person too than you'd think. The sheath is nothing short of amazing, the buckle accents make this sword look even more unique in your collection, whether you're a fan of Sword Art Online or just a sword collector. The only thing I wish they would have done with the sheath is add some sort of strap on it since it has the buckle accents. As I mentioned before, you can clearly see in the picture that the four star duds are above the handle instead of an "X". My only gripe about this is that the paint job is a little messy on mine, it is clearly spray painted, but that's being nit picky. The black on the sword itself is a little over done in some spots. But this is a replica, not exactly a Man At Arms production. All in all I really love this sword, I can't wait to show it off in my collection.

The sword itself is wonderful quality and I received no damaged parts or any problems. I'm very happy with this blade hanging vertically next to the Hylian Shield replica in my game room.

This is the most amazing sword I've seen on this site I'm a big fan of the show awesome to see this on the market.

I don't get it why use plastic to keep the metal blade and wooden handle? Is this sword just for show or what...The reason why I'm asking is because the plastic seems to be getting looser so how do I fix this problem...I want it so well together it doesn't matter what I do with it, it will stay together perfectly as if it had clamps on it.

Bought this sword and when I got it the scabbard came damaged. The fault for the damage lies with UPS because the box came ravaged. Amazing quality sword for $60 5/5.

Came in damaged unfortunately but after I contacted the great customer support I got a new undamager sword. Amazing place to order from. I will come back for more.

Bought this sword the week it came out. Never thought it would sell out and then be brought back for a limited time, so glad i got it early. I have loved this site since i found it 10 years ago and is the only place i will go for swords

Ordered it Saturday 6/21/14 and got Wednesday 6/25/14. Like so many have written before if you are a fan of SAO you will love this sword. I just hope they can one day get some Dark Repulsers. Yeah I know I'm being greedy, but I can dream can't I.

Perfect sword a little on the light side but no problem. Fast shipping ordered it on a Tuesday night got it early Saturday morning. A little touch up of silver paint but other then that it is flawless and love the wooden scabbard. Wish they had the repulsor on here.

This is my third purchase from true swords and probably my favorite. I don't really have any complaints. My sword came fast! My shipping label was created 20 minutes after I paid I then received my sword two days later!! The sword itself came packaged securely and in perfect condition no scratches or anything. The sword was moist with oil just like my other swords I've gotten so that's normal just polish it off when u get it. It looks beautiful and better than I was expecting, the other reviews aren't lying the pic doesn't do it justice. If your a fan of sword art online get this sword you will love it. This is the best replica of this sword for the price Only thing that could make it better would be if it were sharp and lighter. Its decently heavy for a sword though slightly lighter than the dark repulsor sword I also have which is kiritos other sword from SAO unfortunately true swords( at time I purchased this) doesn't sell that sword yet maybe in the future. Now I have both swords and I'm so happy :) thanks true swords this won't be my last purchase you guys are my number 1 choice for swords.

The sword itself is fantastic straight it was a lot better than I thought it would be. I got it in great condition, there was a few little barley noticeable scratches on the end of the blade. The sheathe is awesome with no scratches on it and it came really fast in three days. Overall it was a great purchase and it turned out better than I thought.

Great sword from a great television series, very happy with the sword the only thing I didn't expect is the sword itself seems a little bit small <br /><br />I still recommend this sword to any fan of s.a.o.

Finally can do my real review first off WOW is amazing looks as is in the picture but the picture doesn't do it justice very beautiful sword must have for any collector good weight , not sharp but it's a replica so didn't expect it to be , minor touch ups will have to be made on the paint of the guard diamonds on each side other then that nothing's wrong and that's just me being kinda picky still absolutely love it very happy with it giving it 5 stars, get one while you can is my advice.

i got this sword a while ago but didnt have the time to write anything... this sword is amazing. i almost that the picture does not do it justice. once you have it in your hands and get to admire the work but into it you know its a quality sword

Amazing sword just got it today and i love it. I am a huge fan of Sword Art Online i would live to see the other main swords Dark repulser and Lambent light added to add to my collection i only want real metal not the fake plastic. the one down side is teh scabbard has already started to crack a little but a little wood glue will fix that.

This sword has been out of stock for a while, but I was finally able to get it. If you are a SAO fan this item is a must have . Trust me you will not be disappointed if you buy it.

I love this unique sword. I watched the anime SAO (or at least parts of it) and immediately fell in love with the Elucidator. When I finally found it on True Swords, I was ecstatic. And I was not disappointed. Some points for consideration when purchasing this would be that it does not have much of an edge but a very sharp point, it is a little heavy, the handle has no wrapping which makes for an interesting grip, and it is a display sword and should be treated as such. If you're looking for a cool display item, or you have seen Sword Art Online, then I highly recommend you get this sword. It's worth the money!

This is a high quality product. Excellent for the money. It is not full-tang, but it is a display sword. The metal is solid and heavy. The scabbard is a good material. And the design perfectly matches the sword from SAO. I would recommend this to any collector or fan of the show.

This was a great buy! The Elucidator was my first purchase alongside Rukia's Sode No Shirayuki. It's quite the hefty sword, and the quality was great! I have nothing bad to say about this sword, and I definitely recommend it to any SAO fan.

Great sword for the price but not a weapon more of a display sword. Giggles if you hit it against something. Great for costplay and for SAO fans.

Not hating on this beautiful weapon, but there are definitely some flaws. Pros: -Beautiful, stylish, and pretty spot on with all details. -Scabbard and sword function well. -Cosplay safe. Cons: -Heavy, really heavy. -There were a lot of scratches and blotches on the blade, but that cleaned up quickly. -The scabbard makes a mess for a bit, and scratches the blade a bit, but I bet a little wear and tear will make that pass. -There seems to be a couple of screws loose, the blade wiggles a bit in the handle, but only if you swing hard. All in all, it is a wonderful weapon. Love the blade, love SAO, and love trueswords for being able to ship this weapon. Minor issues, and great quality. Now to get the Dark Repulser...

First off, its great, but I received i think I received the Carbon Steel version of this sword. I know from previous reviews that this is cosplay safe, but I was wondering about the weight. Is the stainless steel one currently offered lighter than the carbon steel? Thanks in advance. For mine, I was pretty satisfied with it. The paint in some areas is a little worn but not enough to really complaint about. The other thing is that it is a pain to draw it from the scabbard. It ALWAYS gets stuck. Still, great blade. Any fan of SAO should get this. It's a must have!

I bought this not that long ago and I was told about 7-10 days. I got it at 12 days which isn't too bad but it was still late. When it did show up it had scratches on the paint and some smudges here and there. Its fine it is dull because its a display item but if it has scratches that are noticeable then there is a problem. It is still good but not the best. I won't come to this site until I have absolutely no other choice because of this experience.

I purchased one of these a while back and its a very nice replica, the only issues i had with the sword is that the blade came a little bent/ curved but it isn't enough of a problem to really complain about it. However this is pretty much a decorative piece as the sword isn't a durably constructed weapon, however it is still very fun to own. Its nice and heavy and an accurate replica to the one in the anime. (4 stars- the stars are bugging out)

CONS: 1. When I recieved this item there was scratches on the black of the blade. 2. I wish there was a way of strapping the sheath to my back like you can the dark repulsor. PROS: 1. Very accurate to the anime 2. Heavy 3. Good quality, material, and detail 4. Even the sheath is detailed All around great buy but true swords needs to make sure that the blades aren't getting scratched up before shipment. Very fast shipping, will buy from true swords in the future.

Crapy sheath, blade seemed to be assembled without care, otherwise AMAZING! Matched up perfectly with the one from SAO, not good for cutting anything because of the poor assembly but you can swing it a bit, it's great for display or cosplay. I would 10/10 recomend this to other people, in fact I told my friend about this site and he intends to grab a master sword, how ever that is a diferent subject. SO if you want to chop anything besides the cardboard it comes in, this isn't for you, but if you want an amazing replica that you can take to comicon, and show your friends, this is for you! Now let's take a moment of silence to remember the cardboard box that died with in an hour of my reciving the blade... RIP...

The sword is well made, dulled, good for a collection. Though as the other review said there is problems, aside from the adequate paintwork on the entire sword, there were smudges on the blade in 2 spots, leaving unsightly black spots on the steel. The top part of the decorative hilt, where it resembles a heart, was the shoddiest work. This is a very high quality blade, heavy, and feels good to wield and will look great in my collection, though it does have it's downsides.

It's a great product, obvious mass produced at fast rates. For the most part it's a great steel sword, awesome add to my collection. Downside was the obvious fast work. Paint not all correct, and really bad paint scuffs and lines, was able to fix for most part. Still would a great add.

Heavy, solid look and feel, nearly perfect visual reproduction. If it were full tang too, it would be perfect. Over all, just as described and pictured.

Just arrived just as it said it would, very quickly.<br /><br />The blade itself is excellent quality. The print on the blade, however, is not perfectly centered on one side, and it's a bit of an aesthetics issue.<br /><br />The hilt decorations' painting is also of pretty poor quality, and the bottom of the blade/some of the hilt came moist with oil. <br /><br />Under the handle is another piece of metal, and it feels just as solid as the blade, but the painting on it has some minor errors that I could probably fix myself. Same goes for some spots on the scabbard ranging from small to very noticeable.<br /><br />4/5 because of the small errors, but still the best blade I've ever held. (And it looks awesome! Great collector's/cosplayer's item!)

Overall, Good Sword. First one I've seen from SAO (Sword Art Online for those know don't know). <br /><br />Couple of things to note: it was heavier than I expected. More blade heavy than anything else. It also had some scratch marks at the tip where some of the finish had been worn off, in front of the symbol. Not enough for me to return it, but it is annoying.<br /><br />Overall, it's a cool piece. Not sharpened, so you could use it with costumes/cosplay (within reason). And I know I said it before, but i found it heavy, so be careful when you swing it around.

The sword itself is great. It has a nice weight and is balanced really well. It was almost a week early. There were only two things wrong with it. The scabbard has no place to be hung on my back. Anyone who buys this for cosplay be warned. The other thing wrong is that little gray ring on the scabbard is not secured well. I think it was only glued on because, while taking the sword out of the wrappings, it fell right off. A little glue would have it set to right but it is still a concern. The scabbard needs work but the sword is PERFECT!!!!!

Sword was great but you could obviously tell the stainless steel coating wasn't done well. Especially around the hilt of the sword around 50% of the metal was missed with the coating showing a very unappealing rainbow rust looking color. the sword was well made to be sure but the attention to detail was mediocre at best. Hopefully they will honor the return policy because it does show great potential but could be a lot better of a sword.

It is a heavy and sturdy sword, made of good material and its cover is very cool but its appearance is not 100% same as photos or video ( dont have "Accurate Guard" and "Detailed Emblem" like the video ), but I am happy to buy it.

Shoddy paint job and the blade flexes when I try and bend it... Paint on blade scrapes off when unsheathing and detail work is patchy. Hand guard is dented, and stars have more paint off than on. Does not look or feel anything like the Dark Repulsor (Anime Cosplay Sword w/ Scabbard) that I ordered from here. Extremely disappointed. Also, the Elucidator doesn't have a cross on the blade... Not sure why yours does.

$60 and they gave me a damaged sword, i emailed them about it and they refuse to help me in the least, this is probably the 3rd time i've had issues with this site and i will not be using them again.

just got after waiting for the resupply, pulled it out of the box went to unsheathe it and the came right off. The thin metal rod holding the handle to the rest of the sword was busted. I wasn't expecting the tang to me special but a small metal rod?! Was going to get dark repulser now I am re-thinking it.
