Strong 100% Nylon paracord at a great price. Nice looking, too. Lots of good lessons on YouTube for tying great knots and grip covers.
so the cord is okay, but the center of it litterally slides out if you dont tie a knot at each end or use a lighter to seel each end after you cut it, with isnt to big of a deal if you know how to use it.
When I bought this black savage Paracord I got it for my bug out bag, well I was out on a hike LAST summer & had to stop to re-tie my boot laces and as you can already guess my lace snapped. As I started to tie it back together I remembered that I had the cord in my pack, so instead of messing around with the old one I simply re-placed it with the 550 cord. Well over a year later the laces are still going strong showing no signs of even fraying!! Can't say the same for the boots though. When I get my new hiking boots the first thing I'm going to do is replace the laces & replace them with some this fantastic super-cord!!
This is the real deal, 550 Lbs test weight, and it holds. Do not confuse with cheap(actually same price, just 1/10th the quality) 150 lbs cord, this is military spec. I can't tell you as a retired combat veteran how many uses there are for this, not just making pretty bracelets. Strip the inner strands on 10' of cord and you can weave a hammock in less than 20 minutes, make a fishing net, fishing line, tinder, snares, weapon sling, etc. highly recomended and you can't beat the price and service.
It's nice cord to make bracelets and key fobs with, seems thinner than other paracord I've received from other places but that just makes it easier to work with.
I liked this, the stuff i have used it on have held and it seems reliable. I would recommend it to a friend, it is strong. It held my weight and i am about 250 pounds.
