My 1974 110 and 2012 110 Reviewed by Matt on Feb 26, 2013   5 out of 5

I have a 1974/1980 110 that has the old 440C steel I carried it squirrel and deer hunting. Back in 1999 I traded a brad new 110 to get my friend's older series. This year I ordered a brand new 110 from the BUCK website due to them sending me a 25% off card on my next knife. I put the older one away and locked it up and now my new one has became a EDC knife so far and has the 420HC steel that is easy to sharpen back up. But once in a while the older one gets brought out to carry but not that often. A friend tried my 110 to field dress a rabbit he liked it so much that he went and purchased one to use once hunting season start's back in September for squirrel season. When it get's time to sharpen my friend's knife I am the one that does that I have antique sharpening equipment that is 100 to 150 yrs old and put a edge on any buck knife that my friend and I have. a lot of them are the old straight razor hones along with some regular sharpening hone's as well.
