Great deal. Tough machete

I got two of these machetes on a bogo deal with, if I remember twenty percent off. Great deal!! Both came dull almost square but I imagine that is for safety purpose. These blades are huge hunks of steel and get very sharp. Would have given a five but although full tang, the blade and handle are not flush on either of mine. Still function as well as machetes can. And for the price...$3 and some change a piece these machetes are beefier and more durable than what I seen in stores. I highly recommend.

Nice Bolo Style

This is a great machete for under $10. It has a nice weight and was decently sharp out of the box and when honed took a razors edge. also, I sanded the handle for a little better fit and now it's perfect. It's strong and sturdy, but has a little flex which is good. Seems to have enough heft to last a good long while. Only regret, no sheath.

Can't get better for the price!

This is a great machete for under $10. Don't expect it to perform miracles though. It has a nice weight and was decently sharp out of the box. Honestly people, don't always expect things to be sharp outta the box, just learn to sharpen on your own. But really, it's strong a sturdy and looks like ti will last me a good while.

pretty good for chopping up branches. havent tried chopping anything bigger than 4 inches round but still good for chopping down bushes or cutting tree limbs.

Machete came today, looks similar to the picture. Arrived unsharpened and it is stamped in the middle upside down.

Just 2 stars

Maybe... I just got the one made by tried guy making it at the end of the day. Some areas of the blade were dull and I had to fix. But the splot where they had stamped the "Buschmesser" name on the middle of the blade, it had been done so hard (and it's large) it had put a bend in the blade and show thru on the other side. So I hammered the bend out. On the plus side it is a heavy chunk of steel. "China" at the base also stamped so hard it shows thru on the other side.
