  • 4" AUS6M Stainless steel blade
  • Multi-position stainless steel pocket clip
  • One-handed opening with flipper or thumb stud
  • 5 5/16" closed length
  • HRC 55-57

This Special Forces knife features a 4" part serrated tanto blade made of AUS6M stainless steel, .14" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-57. The blade has a non-reflective bead blast finish, dual checkered thumb studs, and dual Carson Flippers for ambidextrous one hand opening. The dual Carson Flippers form a true hilt when the blade is deployed, which is very rare in a folding knife. The handle, 5 5/16" closed, has InterFrame construction, with dual 420J2 stainless steel liners, liner lock, Lake and Walker Knife Safety, and threaded stainless steel back spacers. The contoured handle is drilled to lessen weight, with Desert Camo pattern Zytel scales, and side to side-end to end reversible stainless steel gear clip.

I bought this knife because I collect Knives and I like things I can use not any show knives that break. I use this knife heavily. In two years it has become my second most carried knife. It stays sharp not only has good uses for camping and out doers stuff but also is a great tactical knife. If taken out of the pocket right the true hilt will do an out of pocket draw causing a fast deployment. This knife is also easily opens one handed and locks in place well so no worries about it closing on you. I have put this knife through its paces and I highly recommend this knife to anyone who wants a good knife. Even though it comes with a $60 price tag it’s worth it. I have 5 knives by CRKT and I love them all. The only thing I can say that I don’t like is that the thumb stud is close and hard to use but that’s ok I never use it anyway. Its worth every penny buy it.

The "Best" combat folder I have! Reviewed by D.R. on Feb 22, 2010   5 out of 5

I bought my first Columbia River Tactical Folder approximately Two Years ago right here at Bud K. These knives are Top Quality, I especially find this Special Forces Tactical model assures me that I am adequately armed where ever I need to go. A concealed carry permit doesn't always allow a person to be armed in certain places! This Tactical Knife will definitely serve well as a defensive weapon. Awesome Knife!! I just bought the other model in black and cannot wait to receive it!! The Carson flippers are a must to serve as a hilt for hand protection. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. I got this knife for camping, hiking and hunting and it performs great. No matter what the task, it does it easily. This knife is now found a permanent home in my bug-out backpack.
