This Dragon's Lair Templar Long Sword stretches an amazing 33 3/8" and offers a 23 7/8" stainless steel blade. The polished black grip is surrounded by a cast metal dragon guard, which coordinates with the intricate knot work featured on the cast metal pommel. The solid steel sheath is also adorned with unique engravings and details.
this sword along with the many other swords and knifes, I have bought over the last twenty to thirty years have always been great and of the best quality. service has been great and quick delivery
I absolutely love this sword! Sure, it's not a sharpened blade, and the sheath has obvious screws to keep it intact, but that's what I would expect from only paying $20 and I hope others who have purchased this sword are aware of that! This is basically my very first sword, I adore it so and I've been showing it off to my friends and they said it's the coolest sword they've seen. So, for $20, I will definitely rate it 5 stars. I plan to purchase the Excalibur replica in the future and I absolutely look forward to it- Lyndsy M
I absolutely love this sword it makes a wonderful sword piece. I was a bit skeptical at first since its a show sword and I like real, able to use swords. It looks great on the wall its just beautiful and a wonderful decoration.
Honestly, for the price it's a really good sword. It won't be holding up to any fighting, but I took care of that by taking off the handle and just wrapping the bottom of the blade. Once you do that, it's fun and easy to use in sparring with anyone. If you don't want to do that, leave the handle on and it looks really good. The scabbard is a better quality than expected. It holds up to a lot and looks nice. All-in-all, it's a really good buy if you're not looking for anything too fancy.
I was a little disappointed when I swung this sword around. Though it has a very light and sharp blade, the handle feels very cheap and ruins the look/feel of the sword. The sheath is a high quality and actually weighs MORE then the sword itself. When holding the sword you can tell that the blade doesn't go more then an inch into the handle, whereas most swords have the blade going well into the handle not only to reinforce the strength of it but to better distribute the balance between the two main parts. Overall it's a decent sword for $20 and I'd recommend it to any curious buyers.
it is very good every thing is in the right place and solid. The sword is lighter then i expected but that not a bad thing. All in all well worth the price
great sword (and my first yay :) the black swirly grip is plastic (but a good durable plastic) the red in the pomell but it is a rgeat sword still + the price is unbeatable
This was the first thing i bought from True Swords. Just got it today and loving how it is lightweight, Even though 2 parts are plastic the steel design it self is amazing.

Not to be use in combat but it is going on my wall i will be buyin more items from True Swords soon
This was my first purchase from TS. I love this sword. It is absolutely perfect and it meets my needs. Grant it this sword is not for actual hand to hand combat, it is a great display piece.
Very happy with this sword! The pommel perimeter is metal but caps on both sides are plastic(only thing that is plastic on this sword).Filling that cavity with epoxy makes handle solid.Blade is not sharp, but has a tight fit in the handle. The scabbard is great! All metal and looks very good! If we could just get other's to ship as well as True Swords everyone would be happy. A+ Shipping!
This was my first purchase from TrueSwords and I was skeptical about the low price and good quality at first, but when it arrived I soon realized it was/is well worth what I paid and I will gladly continue to buy off here.
This sword is a great first piece for any collector and looks great as a decoration by itself. A few things I found could have used improvement was the chain attached to the sheath; it's a very weak and flimsy chain, and the clip on it bends too easily. When I first unsheathed the blade I discovered it to be slightly bent, but it was easily repaired. Overall, it's a great sword for display and costumes, but two light for combat.
I happened onto this site because my six year old son wanted a switchblade comb. Now it’s at the top of my favorites list. I am truly fascinated by the look and feel of swords, with each one having its own personality. I purchased the Dragon Templar Sword as a starter to see what one could get for the money from this company. Testing the waters if you will. I placed my order on a Sunday and had my order delivered on Thursday with Monday being Veteran’s day. My boxes looked like someone kicked them all the way to Maryland, but the swords made it unscathed. The Dragon Templar is a beautiful start to my first sword collection. I did embellish mine a bit. Where the picture shows red on the pommel and the red eyes on each end of the guard I affixed red cabochon stones. Now my $17.00 sword looks like a $1700.00 sword and I am very pleased.
pretty good sword, my only complain is that the chain on the sheath was broken, and the other half of it was missing, and the blade is not as thick as i thought but overall its a good sword
I love this sword except
i like my blades to be heavier than their scabbards
it is a bit too light and the snakes are plastic
still, the blade is built in the handle tightly
it's very comfortable to hold and it works as a great display sword. the blade is not sharp at all, yet it's stunning to look at. Truly a great Display Sword.
i love this sword! the knotwork and designs on the scabbard are amazing and beautiful. the handle is well made and crafted and the blade is sturdy and nice. this is definately a great item to tag onto my collection and anyone elses!
I love this sword except for 2 things. 1. The part of the snakes is plastic. 2. the belt hanger falls off.
This is a cheap sword, I personally wouldnt use it for anything. I wanted it for display anyway... So...
The blade is thin and bendy, unsharpened of course
I give the sheath a four. Tough, stylish, elaborate... All around the details alone make this worth well the money!
Thanks guys!
4/5
its a cool sword not as i expected it to be, a bit better actually but i realy wont use this for fighting just for it to be there.
This was the first sword I got from budk. Not quite up to my expectations. The blade is flimsy, and the dragons heads on the guard are cheap plastic. Just from walking around with it, it bent a little. In a real situation, the metal sheath would do more damage than this flimsy weapon.
Not a bad piece. It looks great on the wall but is very light weight and brittle. The handle is extremely easy to break and the blade rusts quickly if you don't oil it at least once a week. If you want a decorative piece for your collection then this is a nice addition.
it's a meh product. meant strictly for show, and even then only a "bulk out" peice for collections. the crossguard and handle are both made of cheap plastic and I find that it's actually easier to grip and hold steady when you swing it (due to the slipperiness of the handle and the swirl pattern that makes it turn in your hand,) by placing a finger over the crossguard. the blade bends easily, to the point where you can simply bend it back the other way over your knee and it comes duller than a butter knife. scabbard point is actually sharper than the point of the sword itself and the blade is sharpened oddly.
Its a pretty cool design but need to be built with more strength. To me if it cant be use for the real deal then its not worth buying.
I bought 2 of these and both look great but they do have 1 flaw the handle is very weak and will break if you pull the blade from the scabbard quickly or in an uneven pull
Longer than most $20 swords but a LOT cheaper. To start off I'll complain about the cheap plastic handle, and the dull blade that nicks, and is NOT stainless mine got rust spots after one year. I agree with the other reviewer about one thing, the sheath is very nice, and unique. I suggest you check out the "Robin Hood short sword".You can read my review about it there.
Very disappointed, this sword design should be scrapped. Very flimsy, the handle broke while practicing a few kata.

This "sword" is total garbage. it is all plastic except for the aluminum quality blade which I've owned baseball bats that are sharper. Even the so called scabbard falls apart because the cheap screw are barely threaded. I didn't expect much but they could at least try. DO NOT BUY!
This sword is trash, I didn't expect much for 20$ but I did expect something that was stronger than a butter knife. The "blade" could bend in a U shape and fold back. No edge to even speak of. Poorly crafted handle and painted design. I wouldn't even buy this for looks.
