I still remember the East German guard running through barbed wire and throwing his gun to the side to get into West Berlin. That is where I first saw this helmet. The one I received was brand new, excellent condition and also an added helmet net.

nice but liner by default is too small, and it can be "adjusted" but dont bother, plastic rivets that once off, are off forever.

I wanted this helmet from my aunt for xmas, for my collection of military gear. It came wraped in protective paper, all new. No scratches, dents, or other things. Mine even came with netting to put sticks and leaves in for camo.

The discription says used, but the helmet I got was new, never issued, all clean leather not rust, infact the helmet was still wrapped in the protective paper, clean paint. The helmet brought back memories when I was growing up in Germany, how we used to annoy the (back then East German) border guards. I have an older helmet as well, but it is well used, compared to this one that I just got from BUD K. It's a little bit of history of the Cold War that I grew up in. It's am excellent buy for the money.
