Wonderful! Reviewed by JS on Jun 10, 2014   5 out of 5

It's one knife company that always seems to deliver. I use my carry knife daily for many things. I've carried a Kershaw Vapor for many years now. It took the Cryo to make me validate my choice. I still carry the Vapor daily but added this to the equation. Finish is perfect. Shows no wear in 1st month of carry. Razor sharp like all Kershaw's. Fit is wonderful. 4 position Clip is nice. Clip is stout and tight. Some say its heavy and it is more than vapor. I find no issue with weight or size. The Cryo II is bigger and has it's place too, but it is big. The Cryo seems just there in grip and size. Maybe a simple 1/4" in length added to blade and handle could be perfect. If you have large hands, you might find it small. Assisted opening is a bit stiff still. Tanto Blade is nice and cuts well. If I could change anything, it would be to make the thumb studs shorter. They are the only things that grabs at pocket material and are sharp. Lose the top tier of the stud and it would drop under the handle and not have an issue. Could even remove altogether with the assisted opening. It is much better method to open. Thumb stud is pretty hard to open blade with the stud too close to pivot point. If you are looking for a daily carry that is durable, affordable and sharp as a razor, look no more. I like custom knives like others but can't justify $300-$700 on them no matter how well they are made. Kershaw has bridged that gap for the average person between custom and production. I have and probably will be pleased with my Kershaw's for a long time to come.
