The knife looks great and holds a good edge. The engraving on the blades is crisp. It is big enough to handle a lot of small cutting jobs. The Made in Chins doesn't bother me much. After all, Made in Japan has a lot of the same issues. Just longer ago. Excellent value for the price.

I am buying a number of these knives and giving them to Vet's as we never got the respect that we should have . I served 66 till 72 . You have to watch what you think about China and there products as if you check the tags on other products you might be surprised where they come from .....

I am also a Viet Nam veteran and get tired of the whining. China is not Viet Nam and all that is over anyway. I have collected Kissing Crane Knives for a while now and they always do a great job with the handles. I like them for their beauty not where they are made. Do you not buy German steel blades because of World War 2? I didn't think so.

Made in china changed my mind about buying for myself and gifts for vets for next Christmas. Otherwise it excited me and would been a done deal.

I thought Kissing Crane knives were made In Germany. This Forgotten Hero Vietnam Trapper Pocket Knife is made in CHINA. How disappointing, I would not have purchased it, if I Knew that.

I served in Vietnam and thought this would be a nice knife to own. The yellow bone is not quite yellow as in the picture. I also had some black specs remaining in the yellow bone. But the "Made in China" on the box, well you can figure out how that made me feel.
