Pretty Impressed!

This bag is exactly the same as the rover sling bag with the exception of the obvious solar panel that is also, removable. I've had mine for about a month and the bag is pretty well made. The only issue I had was the strap pad unraveled near the stitching and fell apart. I found a more suitable replacement on amazon that has more coverage. The included solar panel does work but, it's not very strong. It works best outdoors in bright sunny whether much like a satellite dish. It will work propped up in a window but, not very well. Cloudy and rainy will cause it to go in and out but, you could get some juice into your phone in a pinch. The solar panel does not store energy unfortunately; it's a solar panel only. I did buy a solar panel battery to compliment the panel and it pairs very well. Now for the bag. If you already have the rover sling bag then buying this will be an easy transition since it's exactly the same configuration. It has detachable shoulder strap and you can tuck it into the conealed carry pocket, so you can use this as a waist/fanny pack with the built in belt loop. I personally like to use both the strap and belt loop retention in case I have to run with it. It definitely helps keep it from flopping around. The molle panels are pretty sturdy and I have added a water bottle pouch, a veritcal pouch, and a horizontal pouch on the bottom. You can make this bag hold a lot due to it's modularity. If this caught your eye then buy it. If you don't want the solar panel then buy the one without it. I wasn't disappointed so, I don't think you'll be either.
