Thick as body armor Reviewed by Richard rucks on Jul 07, 2016   5 out of 5

Blade is 1/4" thick and super sharp. Spine serrations are totally cool and can saw a small tree. Super tactical and tons of mounting options for your gear. Would buy again.

Sharp blade, looking and the edge. Sheath is practical and MOLLE friendly. Definitely worth the buy, and not much of a wait with their quick shipping.

Now full tang is one thing, but molding the tang around the handle and having it literally keep it there is another, amazing idea, and most full tang things nowadays are just a hunk of sharp metal wrapped in paracord.

Good bang for your buck Reviewed by on Oct 12, 2015   4 out of 5

At the current price this knife is a steal, but let's not jump ahead and say this is best knife ever. The no frills utilitarian approach to this knife immediately noticeable when you pick it up, along with the weight. The spine is 1/4" thick all the way to the oversized pommel cut out. The pommel is solid & can crush just about anything. The offset rows of teeth on the spine make for a wicked sawback that makes short work of tree limbs. The american style tanto blade has a false edge and the knife is balanced right in front of the index finger groove. Now the down sides: the steel used (420A) is very low end, but the titanium finish and thickness may negate any serious issues other than routine sharpening; the guard is just as thick as the rest of the knife, but it's only secured by a couple spot welds that will eventually fail; the grip is a bit square and is cheap polymer rather than G10 or micarta; the grips finger groove is too large for just one finger and too small for two; the sheath is made of lower grade codura with plastic insert and is decent at this price point, however, the junk cord needs to be replaced immediately for 550 cord. Based on current sale price, overall design, and tank like build I'd give it a 4 star rating.

best knife yet Reviewed by Jennifer Benkleman on Sep 21, 2015   5 out of 5

I ordered 2 of these. One for my boyfriend who already has one but wanted a second one and one for my son. And plan one ordering at least 2 more. So I can have one for myself and one for my other son so everyone in our home has the perfect combat knife. Heavy duty and it comes real sharp. The sheath has an empty pocket that my boyfriend keeps a spare small sharpening stone in and a few other small survival items. It also has a leg strap to help keep it secured to your leg if you have to run while wearing it. It is a solid tang and like I already said very sharp. This really is the perfect knife.

My favorite knife Reviewed by Jeremy Shadden on Sep 12, 2015   5 out of 5

I buy knives for combat purposes and this one is the real deal. The full length of the knife is actually just a tiny bit over twelve inches, the total length in the sheath from top to bottom retaining loops is sixteen inches but do not let that discourage you from buying this, it is a beast! It is a full tang monster with a serrated spine that I feel is the most brutal part of this masterpiece. It came sharp on the blade and the serration and I keep it well maintained with the Lansky blade medic that I keep in the hook and loop pocket. The pocket did come empty but there wasn't any description of it containing anything, so I wasn't let down. Actually I have the Lansky sharpener, a chrome zippo I use as a signal mirror/lighter and extra flints in the pocket. You can fit a decent amount of goodies in it and with the leg lashing strap you can feel confident that it will stay in place even while running. I cannot stress enough how great this is and I bought it when it was $69.99 and still feel that it was worth every penny. The current price is a steal for a knife of this quality my girl is getting me another one for Christmas so I got one that is brand new cause I have field tested the living f#*! out of mine. Nothing gets loose! PERIOD! I can even throw it and because of it's weight it buries itself extremely deep. I only want another one because my playing with it scratched the electroplate finish, so it is a vanity thing. It's like my toys growing up. I want one that I keep in the package and one to play with to keep using it as I have. I cannot stress enough my love for this blade, it has the weight and durability you could ever want in a combat blade. Buy it and you will love it too.

Really heavy duty with a thick blade and very sharp serrations that can really cut. The only "odd" thing is that the sheath has a storage pocket which is empty. At least mine is. The pocket would fit a sharpening stone or a ferro rod or really a multitude or survival items - fishing line, paracord, small flashlight. I'm kind of surprised it's sold without something being included in the pocket. But, other than that, a great knife.

It's Survived Me... Reviewed by Evan Helmers on Dec 05, 2014   5 out of 5

This is one rugged and durable knife. Being a veteran, a diesel mechanic, and a consistent hunter/fisherman/hiker; this knife has survived all my abuse and trials. My only dislike is the "Made in China" on an American company's product, but oh well. It's still a good knife. I'm actually tempted to purchase the Combat Bowie and the Combat Machete to complete the set.

5 Star in every way. Form fit and function impeccable. Heavy duty. I own over 175 knives. Almost all from Bud K. This one is in my top ten.

Heavy beater Reviewed by Mathew on May 20, 2014   4 out of 5

Came paper cutting sharp, nice heavy seems well built. Knife is not 16 inches long as stated, its 12.5" long. Seems like a good sturdy knife, will get years of use out of it. 4* as knife isn't 16" long as stated.
