I have made several purchases from BK and never been disapointed. I bought three of these helmets from another site for $12.99. And believe me , you get what you pay for. I was hoping to outfit the family for when SHTF. I should have ordered 3 of the new replica German WWII helmets from Bud K in the beginning . If you want historical value , it is great. I will more than likely order the German WWII helmets HERE. I want NEW on my head . MY sweat and blood in it .

The first one I bought was missing some of the suspension pieces, namely the ring at the top that holds the radiating leather suspension. The chin strap was also frayed, possibly not original. I fixed it with a homebuilt piece of hardware and sold it. Buying another and hoping for all the pieces. Nice helmet for collectors that just want to add to their collection. You could fully rehab one for costume or formal display use but it would diminish collector value eventually.
