Not bad for the price. That being said, for a twelve inch throwing knife is cheap. They are thin and bend easily( bent all 3 on the first go). However they are quite durable and bend back easily. I will go with something heavier on my next purchase.

great knives Reviewed by wendy on May 07, 2012   4 out of 5

I've had a set of these for 2 years. My son uses them everyday for straight throwing, they are extremely accurate and sharp. Inexpensive and last for what seems forever. However the sheath does not.

tips break very easily Reviewed by laf7337 on Jun 23, 2011   3 out of 5

these knives are very fun to throw. they stick very easily and look really cool. however the tips break for nothing. i bought two sets and my first day of throwing them i broke 3 of them. the first one broke off about 3/4 on an inch in the target. the other two broke about a half inch from the tip when i tried to straighten out the tips which were bent.

I bought three sets. The price was right and that minimized trips back and forth to my target. Out of the box, my initial impression was "too light, too thin". The word "fragile" came to mind. But I needed to try them out... 9 out of 9 on the first try. "Luck" I thought. I tried again. 9 out of 9 again. They are VERY, VERY forgiving...very easy to throw. They stick GREAT! Would be great for a beginner. After the first 15-20 minutes of throwing, tips were starting to bend. There's no way they're going to last long. But we'll see....I don't honestly know if I'll buy more (depends on their longevity). But I don't regret buying them either. They throw and stick almost as easy as darts!

Good knife bad sheath.

Not as solid as stated Reviewed by Gabe S. on Jun 02, 2009   3 out of 5

To be honest, I'd go with a slightly more expensive knife set than this one if you are looking to try your hand at large throwers (8+ inches). They are overall very sharp but the thickness of the handle and lack of thickness to the blade blade feel as if they are two different pieces of steel than the one solid that is said in the description. Also on my initial throws of these blades one of them broke in a piece of particle board that I use in my apartment. And the ones that did stick (which they did stick quite well) would oscillate reminding me more of an epee sword than a large knife/dagger. So in short, not half terrible, but certainly not half great either.

I have tried a good number of throwing knives many which were much more expensive. These seem to hit the mark almost every time. I probably shouldnt brag about missing my target but one time when I did, I was really impressed that its very sharp blade actually nailed a nearby aluminum garden shed and penetrated nearly 3 inches into it. OK, the thrower (person) sucks but the thrower (knives) could potentially make awesome defenders in well practiced hands!
