nice blade. had to sharpen it...a lot. but its what i was looking for in a blade

this is my second spec plus machete. the first is going strong but i needed another to keep in different locations. while the blade and steel appear the same as old one the sheath has been cheapened down. the leather is much thinner and the rivets are not put in properly so the machete can be pulled out when all snaps are snapped. while i personaly dont carry on belt this would be a problem for someone who does. blade is 5 star and sheath is a 3.

This is one massive blade that is a good digger as well as chopper. Nice sheath too! I deducted 1 star for the fake sawblade on the spine. It is only good enough for making small notches.

Grody machete. Thick blade with a sure handle. The sheath is tough and built for hauling around this whacker of brush.

You could probably hack down the Sequoia National Forest if it wasn't illegal with this thing.

I watch a lot of anime and I always look for that one tool that goes through a limb like it's nothing. This tool does that. In fact, it does it so well, that I was afraid I'd chop off my foot.

Ive had one of these for some 13 years and its still a great machete. Highly recommended.
