Legends in Steel Black Chainmail armor hood

Very Realistic, heavy, fits well. Must use a rag to wipe off excess protective lube. Overall...awesome~!

Great Compliment to other "legends" hard steel helmets. I expected a "short" or "small" model- I was wrong- this is full size- stylish (check out the brass accents on the neck) and this price finally makes chain mail accessories affordable. This comes well "oiled" and may require a little cleaning before use- its "easy and worth the trouble." I like the bright metal BudK (only a little) better. Thanks KS

I bought this for my wife who is currently building up her fight kit for live steel reenactment. She is insane to buy armor for since she is so particular on how it looks. She liked this and you can't beat the price. This is the first maille product I've bought through BudK and I was actually impressed. I figured that the blackening would be the cheap stuff that wears off and rusts anyway. And the rings of cheap maille tend to not be butted closed very well, but neither was the case. In addition, the blackened section of this maille seems to have brass rings randomly woven in which gives a unique aesthetic. It looks awesome with her coliseum warrior helm that we bought at the same time. It would look good on a guy too, but it looks great with her other more feminine armor.
