Product Description
Based on the Vietnam Tomahawk, the Tactical Tomahawk is an extreme evolution of the original, which was considered one of the more unusual weapons of its day. Today there is a real need for a versatile tool for breaching operations, excavation, obstacle removal, extraction, and other utility applications.
Got this hawk only a week after ordering, and I gotta say, this is a fantastic axe. It's the most versatile tool I have and is capable of doing pretty much anything. It's alot more tool oriented rather than weapon oriented, unlike the M48 tomahawkI own which is pure weapon. Better all around quality than the M48 too. The head is rock solid, thick, and can hack through anything you want without a worry. The spike on the back end is super versatile, being able to dig, smash through brick or glass, though not as effective for weapon use. Burying the axe head in somebody obviously is more effective. :P The handle is damn tough, too. This hawk can take some serious abuse. The only drawback is the handle is a bit uncomfortable, so wrap it up with some good paracord or something for better grip. Overall, a great buy and well worth the money!

Great outdoor tomahawk with some downsides
Great tomahawk for the price. Cut many 2"-6" trees down in minutes and blade still is just as sharp as the day I bought it. One of the down sides is the pick axe. I have used it to crack open geodes and other rocks and it doesn't hold up to the stress. It has gone from a pointed end to a dull rounded tip. With that said I don't think that many people buy this to crack open rocks. Also I feel that the grip is to small to weld the true power of the axe. With some minor tweaking this will be a great tomahawk.
