Product Description
There’s big and then there’s BIG. This traditional style bowie is BIG...Behemoth big! Measuring in at an astounding 16 ¾” overall, this hefty stainless steel bowie has the power to tackle any job you come across. It’s handle features handsome rosewood construction accented by a brass guard and brass pins, giving you behemoth size and power with a traditional look and feel.
I have been a Bud K customer for a number of years. Rarely am I disappointed in a product purchased. Some are absolutely great as with the BUDK Behemoth Bowie. Runs a close 2nd to the Cold Steel Laredo Bowie at a fraction of the cost. If BUDK could do this with a broader blade Natchez at a similiar price, we'd all beat a path to their door. 5 stars.

Big Ass Knife
This knife is a steal at the present price, but it does have what I consider to be a few very small flaws that are not hardly worth mentioning. One, the handle tang is slightly proud of the wood grips, at least they are on mine, which is not a huge problem but you can feel it when you hold it. You can also see it if you look at it from the sides. If you want a highly polished blade, this one is not. It looks great, but is about one or two steps out from being a show quality blade as far as the polish goes. I kind of like it, but it's not a mirror finish if that's what you're expecting. There have been a few other reviewers who have mentioned the sheath and I have to agree that it seems a little bit less that what this knife deserves. But, it is still a good sheath that holds the knife securely and tightly. This is very important you want to carry this beast because if you drop it or it comes out of the sheath in mid step it could separate you from your toes or maybe pin your foot to the ground. So don't worry; this sheath will do the job for you with no problems. One improvement would have been a metal grommeted lanyard hole to secure it to your leg. It's overall a good knife at a good, almost cheap, price.

I got my shipment yesterday and must say that the Bowie is excellent. What a great buy. It is huge and fills my hand quite well. The scabbard is a bit rough, but that's to be expected. The knife is well made and solid. It has one or two small imperfections in the handle tiny chips and one side has been ground down a little too far, but nothing I can't live with.
