Product Description
With SOA’s Veteran Tribute 2-Piece Knife Set, you can conquer the wild or the battlefield, all while honoring our nation’s brave military veterans. A powerful, rugged bowie knife and a convenient, multitalented folder, this exceptional pair offers a versatility range that simply can't be matched by any single knife. Each knife brings its own unique capabilities and strengths to the field, allowing for fine, precision cutting, rigorous hacking and chopping, and everything in between. Both feature resilient, razor sharp 3Cr13 stainless steel blades with rugged nonreflective black finishes. The folder's drop point blade opens effortlessly in the blink of an eye, thanks to its silky smooth assisted opening mechanism. Just nudge the convenient flipper, and the blade deploys in milliseconds, after which the sturdy liner lock fixes it safely and securely in the open position. The folder's tough polymer handle is textured and contoured for a comfortable hand-feel, and a portion of the handle is wrapped in paracord. When wrapped around the handle, the durable cord doubles as a lanyard, but it's also conveniently removable for various tying and tethering tasks. Carry the folder in the included sheath or clip it to your belt or pocket via the integrated pocket clip. The bowie boasts a stout clip point blade with menacing serrations and cool cutouts. Despite its hefty size, this exceptional fixed blade is remarkably easy to wield, thanks to superb balance and an ergonomically contoured, rubberized no-slip grip. Tough as nails and loaded with complementary features, the SOA Tribute set is ideal for practically any cutting job, from simple everyday tasks around the house to demanding chores in remote back country. Makes a fantastic, heartfelt gift for the veterans in your life and/or their loved ones!
At first i was skeptical of Budk but then i ordered the BOGO deal fire starter knife and the "SOA Veteran Tribute 2-Piece Knife Set."
And at first shipping was scheduled for 8 day shipping, and to come on a Thursday... But i then got a notice that the knives would come 3 days early!!
I opened the box thinking," I should have saved my money." But then i was surprised to see that all the knives were there and very much legit.
This is out to you people that were like me and skeptical.
Its real.

Not a bad deal for 10 bucks!?!
Sturdy fixed blade and the assisted opening folder isn't bad either. Both weren't as sharp to my liking but no biggie! Can't really complain for $10.

I first seen this set when my Brother in Law showed me his catalog & ask if I thought the set was worth buying. I used to work with Gary Ek, of Ek knives in VA, making Custom Knives for the Shop Showcase as well as making the Ek Military Knives that Ek was known for. I looked at it and told him for $ 9.99 it was worth it even if just to add to Our Fishing tackle as we're Avid Fishermen. When his came in he came rite over with the set. I took it down to the basement and placed a Finer Edge on it, though it really didn't need to be much sharper. I Liked the Final outcome so much that I Ordered a Set with a few other items. Mine came today, April, 12th, 2018, after my 24 yr old Son seen it he ask if they were still available. He's spent 3 yrs in the Navy and while waiting for the Colorado to be Finished Being Built he was going to be a First Crew Member but the Intense Physical Training he went through becoming a Deep Sea Rescue Diver for the Sub. His Abdominal Muscles Collapsed his intestines from Training to much. He was Sadly Released on a Medical Discharge. Being a Veteran Knife Set, & Similar to the Knife he Trained to Dive with, I'm Ordering Another today for My Son. This Knife Set Sells itself as soon as Anyone sees it & Feels it in their hand. Well Balanced, Great Grip, Fantastic Set Overall. We plan on having my Brother make us Custom Leather Sheaths to put the Big Blade in and Wear them Proudly whenever We go out Hunting, Fishing or Camping. Thank You BudK for Stocking this and Selling it at a Very Reasonable Price.

Yes!
I love this set of knives. Love the stonewash blades. Love the tiger stripe camo handles. Took the cord wrapping off the folding knife. I like it better without it. Amazing deal for the price. Get a set for yourself while you can. Thanks BudK!

Ten Bucks?!
It just arrived today and my first impressions are the fixed blade knife has a solid fitting handle. The handle feels very light weight but the knife balances well at the hilt. One thing that I didn't see in the description is the small fire-starter rod in the handle (in the small picture showing skull crusher you'll see a black 'T' shape which is the rod) which is nice. The blade has a small edge bevel but that can be improved, I believe the only useful serrations are on the blade edge proper, the back of the blade saw looks more decretive than functional. The folder seems sturdy enough for use mine has zero flex when opened, the assisted flipper throws the blade out fast and clean with solid lock up. Includes pocket clip for tip down only carry, although I prefer tip up carry. The handle is quite wide and it's in the larger size folder scale so pocket carry probably wouldn't be very comfortable. The cordage on the folder handle is cheapo nylon stretchy stuff, it does add a bit more grip for that side but the extra cord could but looped or cut back and melted together. The other reviews of the folder don't explain how the knife failed or what they were using for when it did fail, so it would be best to ignore them; breakage usually happens from improper use, just my 2 cents.

Good overall
The big knife is still good. Don't buy this if you expect the pocket knife to work.
