Product Description
The Boar Hunter Skinning knife is perfect for that special hog hunter on your gift list! It features a 6" hollow ground stainless steel, full-tang blade that will get the job done out there. The attractive wooden handle has a great feel to it and features a brass-tone guard, pommel and pins. A quality leather sheath houses the blade.
Its a improved sheath compared to my other. Old one feels like paper, this one is a stiff thin leather but not the best. Knife came razor sharp and no flaws in handle. Sprayed Ball pistol over sheath to soften it up. Satisfied with purchase.

Great Knife!
I like the Boar Hunter Knife so much, for the heavy bolster and pommel of brass, FULL TANG, leather scabbard, that I bought 6 more!!! Great gifts to friends and relatives! So sharp, that point guards needed! Throw one into the back pack for a backup camp knife! A great bargain at less than $10!!!

Nice, hefty knife
I purchased this knife for my husband, and we were both quite pleasantly surprised at its heft and weight. Full tang, not too hard to sharpen, and holds its edge well. More than anything else, though, he says he likes the way it feels in his hand. Thank you, Bud K, for another fine product.
The knife is fantastic. Out of the box it was already nice and sharp. My only complaint is the sheath, it doesn't hold the knife in place nearly as well as it should. But overall it was worth purchasing.

Nice knife
Out of the Boar, Fox and Stag skinners that seemed to me to be relatives this is the best. The handle feels decent in your hand, the blade came sharp and is easy to sharpen when it dulls, and the tang fits well against the handle material. The sheath isn't the best but for a $9 knife I knew it wouldn't be perfect. Worth a few bucks as a side note on a larger order.

Not a bad buy considering the price!
I like the knife, its not perfect the handles wasnt finished enough, some rough marks still, but its a strong knife and for the price its a great value. This is the knife you want to beat up and get dirty with, its not a collectible obviously, its the knife you want to use if you are worried the knife might get damaged, why ruin a good quality expensive knife i you have have one of these. the worst part about the knife is the Sheath, its sucked the big one. very thin and flimsy, not a fan at all of the sheath. The knife came in very quick, a day earlier than than predicted. I LOVE BudK !!

Cool
Nice knife sharp and well made. Only 3 stars because of the terrible sheath.

Well
Well the Picture looks better then the knife you will receive. The sheath sucks and Im gonna have to go out and buy a new one, The blade is trashed...all jacked up. but I guess you get what you pay for. The handle is poorly made and Im just gonna take that off and make my own for it.

Whoops...
To me, there is 3 things I look at in a Large skinning knife, Blade (sharp, heavy, drop point, 5'1/2-7' blade) Handle (good guard, dual pins, texture glued) and sheath (leather, snapping lock, snug fit). This knife seemed to have it all. I was satisfied when I got it. very sharp and somewhat thick with a good secure feel on my hip as well as in my hand. I was with my uncle 2 weeks after getting this knife, in a tree stand when I reached to grab my DDW (dead down wind) spray and my hand went between my hip and the knife. the loop of the sheath immediately fell off my waist, 15 feet off the tree stand, and landed on the forest floor. whoops... I know it wasn't built to be beaten' like that, but the handle was cracked into 3 pieces and the sheath had failed me. I watched $9 fall 15 feet to the ground. it's a alright knife. not that durable though. but it sure looks cool! I'll give it that!
