looks nice and feels really sturdy in your hands. the only problem that annoyed me was the sticker on it but its not a huge problem i removed it and still had sticky residue but that wont matter once i clean it so 5 stars!

I got this knife just a few days ago, I had arrived four days earlier than the estimated arrival, and I simply LOVE IT XD its such a good chopper, and nicely balanced, which makes it good for throwing. Sharpening wasn't as bad as the otber reviews said, I just used a file and a diamond sharpener and got it pretty sharp. I'm definately going to buy another one :D
5/5

My opinion.
In the image the handle did not look comfortable. I was wrong. Not only is it comfortable but with a surprisingly tight grip. Sticker is a pain in the ass (I would suggest buying the goo that removes them). Blade isn't too sharp, but mind you. Machetes are not supposed to be sharp. Their edge is meant to endure longer and handle more by being thick, so in that retrospect it's great. I still would suggest sharpening it SLIGHTLY! You can tell this thing is a "Work Horse" as Cold Steel says.

Great product, especially for the price!

Sticker wasn't any trouble to get off as some reviews had said. Blade was a little dull but it sharpened up real nicely. Cuts like a dream, I think this is the best machete I've ever owned. Really is worth the $20.

This is the campers best friend! It's Cold Steel, so you know you could hit it with a truck and it won't bend or chip. It has good weight, and the curved blade is great for splitting small branches. It also throws surprisingly well too

this machete is bad ass...i thought this web site was full of it until i bought this machete and it is 100% legit....i opened it up and went out and started chopping down a tree. i jus wish it had a better grip

I've had this machete for a few weeks now, and thought it an incredibly advantageous buy, considering the work i've already gotten done with it on one sharpening.

First off, Cold Steel absolutely rules the market when it comes to practical designs that work for you, without getting too expensive with useless little odds and ends. This item will last you a long, long time with the blade finish, too.

I give it four stars for a well textured grip, wonderfully designed blade for all acts of hacking, chopping, you name it; but not so much for sharpening though. the tough, hardly flexible sheath is nothing to spit at either. I'm altering mine for tactical wear, when in the woods or in the yard battling yucca (much more fiercely now, might I add.)

Excellent _$20 tool.

i'll have it in my arsenal for years to come. just be prepared to be sharpening it right out of the box and you'll be Rockin an' Rollin.

okay so first off this thing is awesome! the shipping was good. The balance of this kukri is so far front it feels more like a hatchet than a knife. i kinda wish that the blade was a little thicker but its fine. it came dull as a rock, partially because of the paint on the blade itself. but about an hour with a wetstone and most of it sharpened right up, although the area near the tip is extraordinarily difficult to sharpen. the handle is nothing to write home about and in fact feels quite bad in the hand and can slip easily. but i wrapped it in paracord and now its fine. great blade but 4/5 for dull.

It's a really good blade for what it's for, great materials, no frills, though it came in the mail duller than a butter knife and the sticker on the blade gets nasty on removal. Overall a great product with a couple flaws.

This is a nice machete, the blade was dull, other than that this is a steal. Also do what I did, spend the $12.99 on a Accusharp knife sharpener, It"s the first one on the sharpener page. But be warned, it makes your blades very, VERY sharp. You dig.

I received this kukri as an early Christmas present from my father, it's very sturdy and well balanced. The reason I only gave it three stars is because I was expecting it to be ready to rock right out of the box, instead it came in as dull as a butter knife!!! Even after sharpening it vigorously it still wasn't sharp enough to do it's job. I'm not going to suggest this item to anyone who has a budget of $50 dollars or higher, but if you have a tight budget it's better than nothing.

blade isn't really sharp had a small chip handle fixed it good for a chopping knife but it really has a flimsy feel to it at the handle. but the sheath is really nice.
