2012 was a great year for Gil
Long, sharp and only 3k made. This blade was so awesome I had to turn around and buy the gold edition to put on my wall. My goal is to take one of his knife making classes. The knives came quickly with the usual great BUDK service.

"This is a knife"
And what I knife it is! Better hurry..they're going fast, I got 2073 of 3000. Would have given 5 stars but mine came with a small blemish on one side of the blade flat.

Dullest blade I've ever got
I have bought at least 100 knives in the past year. This is the dullest knife I have ever got. I don't know if it was missed, but my butter knives have more of an edge. I use my knives I am very disappointed. I have several different sharpening tools and this is the first knife I can't get shap. I also bought the highlander Bowie. It came somewhat sharp. The adds clearly say razor sharp blades. My first and last Hibben knives

Nice looking
A nice looking knife but that is about all. The big blade is the only thing it has going for it. Not sharp at all, grind marks on the guard are visible, ridges from the molded pommel visible down the center of cast file work, the grip is to wide at the rear for a solid grip. A collectible knife should be a work of art which this is not. This knife is only good for a wall hanger as it comes. I have a lot of work to do on it to make a serviceable, battle ready bowie.
