Product Description
We've unlocked The Hibben Vault to re-release some classic treasures from the Hibben collection. These revival items are limited to a small quantity and are only available while supplies last. The original Silver Shadow was a best seller, so why not make a Silver Shadow II. It's just like the Silver Shadow I, only smaller.
This IS a Dagger. It is a stabbing weapon. It is perfect for that task. It can be given an edge if you are willing to sacrifice the simplistic beauty of it. The blade is quite thick, and narrow, It has a steep edge on it. The edge is quite capable of cutting flesh. You could spend a lot of time giving it a little more of an edge but you will need to grind the edge down significantly, which will change the profile of the blade. Daggers were meant for stabbing, piercing, not so much for slicing and cutting. Also they were used defensively to block and parry heavier blades. The thickness of the blade makes it stronger for the task. If you want a slashing weapon look for knife edge weapons, all four of the shadow Dagger/Knife series have the heavy edge to them. Although the shadow DOUBLE Shadow Dagger/Knife versions have wider blades and a more "knife" style edge. I like it and it will look quite nice with my Shadow Dagger Series display.

Dagger
This is a DAGER Not a Knife, Yes hard to edge but not necessary. Implement was for stabbing only. In the old days this is how you took someone out Violent downward thrust. Or upward to stomach. hence the Wire wrapped handle no slip on way down. Way out who cares. Opponent was OOC. Similar to theory of Sykes/Fairbane than Jim Bowie. In conclusion I put mine to a belt sander and edged it anyway. Just in case I want to clean my fingernails. Peace out!

The dagger has a sharp point. Blade is a default blade, meaning not to sharp. Beautiful knife and holster. Very well crafted, solid, well built. Use has a letter opener, or show with your other fine knives. It is however hard to get an edge on the blade

Pretty but not functional for cutting.
This dagger is pretty to look at. But except for straight stabbing, is completely useless. The blade is as sharp as rubber ball. Also the angle of the edge is beyond anything normal. I used and angle finder and it is a 90 degree edge. Trying to get an edge on it will require a severe amount of grinding. If you want a display piece, get it. If you want something to cut with, buy something else.
