Product Description
The Karate Master Knife by Gil Hibben was built with the martial artist in mind. This beauty
Lets get the negatives out there right off the bat, this knife came dull, so very very very dull that it could not cut anything, cardboard, paper, meat, air, nothing at all :) (and I'm pretty useless with a sharpening stone so will have to send it off to be professionally sharpened). That's the negative list done. The positives are many, it really is a beautiful looking knife, great weight, feel and balance, the mahogany handle is excellent and very comfortable, the heavy duty thick leather sheath is also very nice. Overall its an excellent knife, well worth the money, but they really need to work on sharpening that blade in the factory.

Gil Hibben
I own over 60 knives. 10 are Hibbens. Almost all from BudK. The Hibbens are impeccable. Easily my finest knives. The Karate knife is simply another work of art Hibben has created.

Finally got a Hibben
I've purchased several knives from this great company, and I finally bought my first Hibben, the Karate knife. My other less expensive knives pale in comparison to this one, in looks, quality, feel, and workmanship. It's truly a work of art. Over the coming months I'll be buying all the Hibben's I can get. I was not disappointed, quite the opposite. Can't wait to open another box with a Hibben inside!

First time Hibben Buyer
The photo does NOT do this knife justice. It is an exceedingly stunning knife. This knife has a good weight with a nice well balanced feel. I wanted a knife with a true wood handle and I was not disappointed. The craftsmanship of this knife is top notch. It shaved hair off my arm right out of the box. I will buy Hibben knives again.

My First Hibben
Purchased my first Hibben knife recently and I am very pleased with the Karate Fighter. The heft is perfect and balanced. The beautiful mahogany wood handle is hand friendly and accented with pleasing Micarta inserts. The brass pommel and guard are brightly polished and attractive. I was concerned with Chinese origin. However, the blade and overall workmanship is excellent. I highly recommend this knife for everyday use and show.

Excellent For The Price
My Hibben arrived today. This is my first Hibben and I am very pleased with the quality, feel and look. I was concerned with the materials and workmanship originating in China. However, the entire knife is of good quality. I suspect Mr. Hibben demands some quality when a manufacturer uses his name and design for knives.

Gil Hibben Karate Fighter
This is a great knife. I was quite impressed the quality and detail. The blade and handle are very balanced. The craftsman ship (or production) of the knife is superb. It is tough and rugged. I'm using it often for just about any task I can think of (wood working, etc... I even cut my sandwich with it). It feels excellent in the hand and just makes you want to pick it up and use it. In 3 years I've spent at least the price of this Hibben knife on utility knifes that I use for everything, none of them are functional today...This will be around and functional for a long time. And all due respect to the design and origin of this knife as I'm a huge karate admirer. Simply excellent and worth every penny. Thanks BUDK and United Cutlery.

Great Knife!
This knife is well-built, solid in the hand, and sharp out of the box. If this is indicative of Hibben knives, I'll be back for more!

Great knife!
I'd never owned one of the Hibben knives before, so I was uncertain what to expect when I ordered this one.

Gill Hibben Karate Fighter Knife
Just received this knife. It is better than the picture on the website. You have to hold this knife to really appreciate the quality and beauty. It is a well designed and well built knife. Thanks BUDK for another bargain.

Hibben Karate
Knife came in very sharp, leather sheath is heavy duty and very well made! What I like most about this knife is that it's surprisingly heavy! I dont plan on using this knife, but if I had to use it as a hammer, I wouldnt be afraid to break it.
