KA-BAR Knife with Black Leather Sheath

Shipping was quick as always. Knife came razor sharp and neatly packaged. The knife is very high quality with a full tang carbon steel blade with a protective coating on it that prevents rust. The grip is synthetic and very comfortable. The factory edge will cuts extremely well. The sheath is real leather so that's a bit of a downer as leather has a tendency to hold moisture. Out of the box the leather is very stiff, but with a little time playing around with it the leather will soften a bit. I highly recommend this knife to anyone that's looking for a knife that looks nice and performs flawlessly.

Now. my most favorite item of my order. This thing is a f**ucking weapon. It comes sharp as hell and im not exaggerating. feels sturdy and heavy in the hand. nice wight to it. It was definately bigger that what i expected. And i though it would be smaller ( "thats what she said") :)<br />It cuts thru a bottle like bottle with a super clean cut.<br />The sheath is made in mexico, but still a nice sheath. Lether. The knife....is the bets. Great for a gift or anything you might expect. This knife will do its job.

I got this for my son. He loves it. It's so sturdy, and he's already used it for several tasks and it still looks like new. It's also full tang. On top of all that, it got here in 3 days! If you plan on buying it, I recommend the Kydex sheath with it. Overall, this is definitely a great knife, and I highly recommend it.

This is an amazing piece of American craftsmanship, excellent flawless blade (could use a good sharpening when you first get it). <br /><br />This knife really commands attention, and is worth every penny.<br /><br />As for the sheath, it is NOT terrible. It is full leather and perfect, it only needs to be broken in (like any good leather).<br /><br />All in all, nothing at all bad to say about it, it'll probably out last it's owner.

The sheath this thing comes with is terrible. The leather is cheap and stiff and it barely buckles closed with the knife in it. But who cares about that, the knife is awesome. It is very sharp and extremely high quality. It is solid as hell, meaning it does not jiggle on the handle at all. What a great buy.
