Product Description
Extreme survival pieces just don't get any better than Schrade's Extreme Survival Micarta Bowie. The drop point hollow ground blade has a non-reflective black with a razor-sharp edge. The sculpted Micarta handle slabs feature ergonomic finger grooves, and the handle is completed with a lanyard. Includes a heavy-duty ballistic sheath.
This blade is quite intimidating. Big and sharp and powerful. Great quality Schrade knife. Strong and sturdy, kinda on the heavy side but still good to move around. Sheath could've been better, felt kinda loose but still good for carrying around. Best bowie knife out there. Pretty damn good.

Schrade excellent
This beauty has a one inch thick handle with tang edge smoothly rounded. My collection includes good looking, smooth handles; so welcome having effective grip grooves for no nonsense survival scenarios. Very sharp out of the box. The serrated version would be nice for shaving narrow curls, but decreases the smooth edge length. Sheath has nice features but the loop portion is too thin. Still all in all, a quality BUDK offering I am happy with.

schrade schf3n
Knife is quite a looker and sharp out of the box with a serviceable sheath with a pouch for sharpening stone or sundries, not included. Mine arrived with a divot along the blade edge like whomever was grinding it turned the blade into the grinding medium making it ruinous to sharpen or repeatedly resharpen. However, I am so attached to the knife that even with cosmetic damage, I still believe it to be adequately functional and intend to keep it. As I presume this to be a freak occurrence, I continue to laud Schrade for all their quality workmanship and ever expanding product line. If not for this single quality control issue, this blade would be worthy of five stars.
