Timber Rattler Filework Signature Striped Bowie Knife With Leather Sheath

Well after reading the review's I ordered this knife with high hope's of displaying on my wall,,,,not going to happen,,,,the bone part on the grip,,,,one side had a split,,,the other side had a hole in it,,,,the size of a pencil lead,,,where it's stamped Timber Rattler is way to lop sided,,,no matter how I would display it these thing's would stand out,,,I'v ordered thing's from Budk in the past,,,and should have learned by now ,,,,as it's said you get what you pay for,,,in all it would appear to be a nice knife,,,,,if you view it from a very long distance,,,

Purchased this bowie knife from budk through the bogo deal, definitely worth the money. My 3rd timber rattler knife, &very impressed with the workmanship of this blade. Full tang,good blade edge, heavy but good weight for this size of blade.(this bowie is huge.) The handle is a thing of beauty, was going to give both knives away as gifts but decided to keep one for myself. LOL.! Would definitely buy again, you won't regret buying this knife! I'd shopped around for a good bowie knife for a while a finally decided on TImber Rattler. I recieved this one as a gift. Take the reviews word for it, this knife is BIG. Mine arrived with no visible flaws, the sheath alone is worth the price. Mine didn't come "arm shaving sharp" but a few swipes through a sharpener and its sufficient. If you're needing a knife that will perform without paying a pretty penny, do yourself a favor and get you one.

This is the 3rd Timber Rattler Bowie I purchased and it is beautiful and functional, as are my other two from TimberRattler and Bud K! I live in a rural area and these Timber Rattlers suit my needs to a tee. Strong, big and reliable. Timber Rattler Bowies seem to get a bad rap on other knife sites but I don't know why. These are fantastic, well made knives. This one is no exception. The sheath fits well, and seems pretty good, but the blade is great and the handles seem sturdy and solid. Full tang and thick, wide blade. Knife 'snobs' may poo-poo these Timber Rattlers, but I have carried these into the woods with no reservations. For $20.00 you get a very good, solid, well made knife. No, its not a Ka Bar, but it also did not cost $100.00. If I didn't think it would hold up I wouldn't have purchased three of them! It's a great deal on a good, solid blade.

This is a wonderful handcrafted knife. Well balanced, blade is very sharp, I have it on display in my Office. Everyone that comes in admires that one of all the knives I have.

TIMBER Rattler is one of the best knives for the price I have in my collection. If your looking for a inexpensive, good looking, and a excellent working knife. You have it with these TIMBER RATTLER. I just got two of these in today and all I can say is WOW! they are big and hefty! The two I just got were called timber rattler bone pakkawood bowies" I searched for the item to leave my review but it is no longer there so here I am rating it here. ( same knife, same item number "17 TR127") I got my two bowies on the recent BOGO for 19.99 which was a steal of a deal! couldnt pass. I WAS going to get a timber rattler outlaw until i seen that bogo lol. Reason for 4 stars is one of the two bowies I got has a rust spot and a few chips out of the blade. was a little upset seeing that after spending 100$ between budK and CHKadels and then having to wait 4 days for a tracking to work, and a total of 8 days for shipping when the warehouse these items are coming from are about 6 hours away. I blame the pakistan factory for the rust and chipped blade, and smart post for the super slow shipping. never had to pay express shipping because my items would come so fast because I was so close but since the switch to smart post, i might reconsider. anyways good knife!

This knife just feels damn good in your hand and it looks good too. If I had to pick a Bowie out of my collection to use on a trap line or as an extra piece of protection up here in the north Maine woods . . . . this would be it. You could easily cut down small trees with it or chop through several inches of ice. It's too nice to use as a work knife though and the sheath is just as well made ad beautiful too. A really great knife for the price. I've paid 4 or 5 times more for Bowies and they weren't as good as this one.
