Timber Rattler El Paso Bowie Knife

This knife is the best bowie I have. Full tang and came sharp. The sheath was a little too tight at frist but loosed up with a little use. Feels very firm, like you could chop a small tree with it. Cuts though Muti Flora Rose thangles with ease. This knife is BIG and looks nice, you will be enved!

I got one in the mail and right ehen i opened it i was shocked how nice it was. Handle us full tang and feels great in the hand. Blade is sharp and big no sharpening required. I havent really used it yet but it looks and feels great.

This knife is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a knife to wear for Cowboy Action Shooting but was also functional and this fits the bill perfectly. Really pleased and you couldn't beat the price.

I bought one out of curiosity, and I liked it's looks... expecting it to come like some Bowie's (razor sharp as a butter knife) you know the type you can rub the edge in the palm of your hand and will leave a red mark after 5 or 6 times . Not this one!! the edge is centered to the spine and is very sharp cut the back of my hand when I mistakenly lightly hit it. so far I have bought 4 more for friends to of which I plan to take to some friends in central Mexico they loved the tr88's I brought down at Christmas. these I feel will be stronger due to a full tang the other two Jungle fury Bowies TR88 are holding up very well to daily use on a ranch in the Sierra Madries and the other at a out door restraunt in Mismaloya Mexico He uses it for cleaning large fish and chopping up wood for his BBQ the restraunt is right on the Beach thank-tou...

I had considered a second TR85 even before the price drop but when I saw it for $13 I had to have another. This one is exactly as fine as the first one and an absolute steal at the price. Great knife!

Well made and a steal at the price. The handguard/hilt does rub against my knuckle but otherwise very comfortable to hold.

The wood handle is superb, heavy brass rivets,,, the blade is 1 inch shorter than the Timber Rattler Western Outlaw Bowie Knife, with a different guard configuration. Both the El paso and Outlaw Bowie knives are a best buy here on BudK,,THICK AND FULL TANG,,,,,great for heavy cutting or chopping work , I recommend both .

This is one of the first knives I bought online, it is everything I want out of a Bowie knife, large, thick metal,strong, great looking, solid, and you cant beat the price,I think I'll buy a few more of these as gifts, and maybe a mint in the box one for me just to have one unused.

This knife is amazing! It looks even better in person than it does in the picture. The wood handle scales are beautifully textured, the brass shines and the blade is a razor right out of the box. The balance feels perfect and the knife looks like it was lovingly handcrafted by James Black himself (the guy that made Bowie's knife, look him up). It has earned a place of honor on the wall with my old muzzle-loader shotgun and powder horn. For only slightly over 20 dollars ( I got it monogrammed too) I now have a piece I am proud to display and pass down to my son. Buy this knife!

When this bowie arrived via USPS, it wouldn't fit in my mail box. After un-boxing this beauty I was like "YES!!!" It was everything that I thought it would be and then some. It took me back in time and I was ready to defend the Alamo. This handle was unique, there was 2 different shades of wood on both sides. The hand guard is awesome. The over all fixed blade has a blood grove and ready for action. Also the leather sheathe houses this knife just right. I normally don't write reviews but I highly recommend this El Paso Bowie (c)

I have bought a bowie from bud before with a coffin handle. But this is the best knife I have ever seen.1/4 inch thick surgical steel. I will get another for my home and put this one in my 4x4. What a buy. Thanks.

What I can tell you is this knife is worth big bucks and surely not the price we can buy it for through a Budk catalog. The weight the look is of a much higher priced knife. Do yourself a favor and pick up 2 or 3 you will love every inch of this knife. What a gift it will make WOW. Lark Shoptaw

Gorgeous work on this one, a real work of art...but at the same time, razor sharp...very thick blade. Lighter than the Outlaw by quite a bit, but feels no less sturdy and reliable. A great, great deal!

Got the knife a couple of weeks ago, I like to "field test" all my knives. I went out and chopped wood with this knife, and it held together well with no damage, and stayed sharp. What more can a guy ask of his knife. It's great looking, tough, and affordable. worth easily 3 times the asking price.

This is, without a doubt, the best Bowie style knife that I have bought from Bud K or for that matter from anywhere! It is built super strong, sharp as a razor (shaved hair off my arm) and simply one beautiful knife. The blade is thick and heavy with full tang construction and the handles are connected together with brass pins with absolutely no wiggle or play of grips or guard. The quality far surpasses what I have seen coming out of Pakistan in the past. I am going on a Bigfoot expedition in June and this is the knife that I am taking with me and it will suffice in bear country, too! However, everything I have good to say about this knife I can't say about the sheath, unfortunately! The sheath is not made for a heavy duty knife, thin leather, flimsy, and will not last very long. I am going to have a new sheath made that will be more functional and worthy of this Bowie big boy. This knife is a guy buy, definitely!

For a $15 made in Pakistan knife, I'm amazed at it's quality. It's not perfect but, it feels sturdy.

Really decent knife, actually its more than a knife, Really decent Bowie Knife. The wood handle looks great and is the perfect amount of weight. However, the sheath that it comes with is rubbish big thumbs down... And the blade has Pakistan stamped on it. I don't know if I'm speaking for myself here but I don't want the word Pakistan anywhere near my Bowie.
