A real cattleman needs a real man's blade. This 16 3/8" Ranch King Bowie from Timber Rattler really is the king of bowies. With a full-tang 10 1/4" stainless steel clp point blade, you can slice or hack through anything. A pakkawood and bone handle is accented by brass plated pins and guard giving it that western flavor. Includes brown leather belt sheath. Timber Rattler, TR87
I just received this bowie today and I must say it is very well-made. Solid, no loose pieces and very well put together. And the blade is unbelievably Sharp. I love BUDK products and they stand by what they make. I will continue to purchase items from here because I'm happy every time I receive my merchandise. Your loyal customer, Michael

Excellent Bowie
I have been collecting bowies for many years and the Ranch King is one of my favorites. It is well built and looks great. Superior product for an unbeatable price! Just wish the sheath was a little better made.

Timber Rattler Ranch King Bowie
I recently purchased this timber rattler ranch king bowie and was very pleased with the product. I have a number of timber rattler bowies and I would rate this one only second to the outlaw bowie. The quality is outstanding. Another hats off to BUDK !!!

SURVIVAL BOWIE DEFINITELY
All you knife lovers look into my eyes -BUY THIS BOWIE KNIFE! I was extremely happy when I opened the box and held this knife. It's worth triple the price with a thick (.200 of an inch thick) full tang blade that's sharp! The grip handle is man size and beautifully done. The sheath I am not so thrilled about, a bit flimsy for such a heavy knife and the leather is thin, won't last long in the rigors of the woods but the knife is absolutely strong, sharp, and will make a perfect survival and defense knife and will last two lifetimes. I am going to get another one for show and use the one I just received for Bigfoot forest adventures and the price is right - borrow the money if need be before their gone. Tell your wife that Jim Bowie, Daniel Boone, and Davy Crockett would want you to buy one. Happy trails.

mr. dundee would be proud
So let me start off by saying, i suck at dimensions. I used man inches to guestimate how big this monster of a knife would be around, oh how wrong i was. i was thinking it would hang around my mid thigh, not my knee. Thats not saying much considering my small stature so ill stop complaining lol. other then the size, this knife is great. It came sharp enough to shave my legs and seems to hold an edge pretty well despite being a softer steel, i assume since its a surgical style steel. obviously that doesn't stop me from having a nice long sharpening session planning the demise of my ene...erm..i mean therapy...yeah like therapy. lol but seriously if you want a very beautifully constructed knife that would put dundee to shame get it man, its 20 bucks you cant loose. seriously you would destroy in a knife fight...not that i do that. the handle is actually very solid, i was extremely pleased to find the materials are real, didnt expect that from a 20 dollar knife. the case is crap but almost every timber rattler case is. also both my orders were fairly scratched up, so bad show on budk's part but hey whatcha gonna do? its a knife, hopefully it gets used anyway right?

Okay Quality
I purchased a pair of these knives to give to boy scouts who just earned their Eagle rank. They are nice looking knives, but the guard on both were loose. I'll keep the one which is worse for myself, and repair the other and have it engraved for the scout. More of a wall/desk decoration, so I'm not worried about heavy use. You do get what you pay for!

Falsely advertised
I bought this knife based on lots of great reviews, and the fact that it is advertised as being a full tang. Just looking at the handle it would appear that it is a true full tang, but after using it for not very long the handle snapped off just behind the guard. To my surprise it has a small tang that goes down the center of the handle, with a separate piece of steel around the outside of that, to give it the appearance of being a full tang. And to add to the problem the outside piece was tack welded to the tang right at the point is snapped off, which would have crystalized it making it weaker at that point. I would not recommend this knife to anyone. It is disgraceful that the company would falsely advertise their products this way.
