Yet another really thin, lightweight blade from BUDK. I just got mine today, but I already love the balance and feel of it. You might just make me a fan of the lightweight blades yet.

This M48 Paracord Wrapped Handle Knife And The M48 Paracord Bracelet are very well made, feel and function perfectly and they look really cool. The blade is very sharp with a slim profile and the paracord wrapped handle makes it very comfortable to access and use. The sheath is also very nice and well made also The fasten that keeps the knife in place is great and does not slide around but keeps it nicely secured. The bracelet is very strong and comfortable and the Buckle is tough and easy to use. These have become two of my favorite M48 Products. Thank you

An amazing product. This knife can take anything you can put it through and more. Also, this knife holds an edge for much longer than others like it. Altogether a great product for the price.

The Full Tang Combat Tanto arrived but the Paracord was missing. I emailed the staff and they were very helpful and timely. They shipped the missing bracelet free of charge to me ASAP. This is a great deal the bracelet alone is $16 the knife is a bonus in my opinion. I would buy this again.

very well constructed knife. Sharpened right out of the box. The bracelet is a bit big but I have small wrists, and unfortunately, it is not adjustable. I would feel confident defending myself with this knife, has a good weight and not overbearing in size that you couldn't handle it

I've got to say...the tanto is REALLY nice, it needed some sharpening, but that was to be expected that's why I also got a knife sharpener to go with it and to use on my other knives i have. <br /><br />The standard cord wrap is pretty nice for my hand, though once i learn how to weave paracord better I will probably put that paracord bracelet on instead.<br /><br />the bracelet is a bit large on my wrist...but that is because my wrists are small...at least it will stay on and wont fly off my hand as I did a slight tug to get it on.<br /><br />the only thing that i think could be better is the belt loop for the sheath being about 1/2 and inch larger or so, as it took a bit of effort to thread it onto one of my belts.

Rock solid knife for the price. Cord-wrapped handle was a bit of a joke, but with some 550 cord laying around, it didn't take long to remedy that issue. Same knife as the "zombie apocalypse" version, without the green/black wrapped handle and at half the price. The bracelet is 330 cord, not 550, but it's basically free with the knife, so no complaints. Everyone I've shown mine to has wanted one...so go ahead and buy it-it's a great knife for $10!

I bought two of these. The knife is a good size and came sharp! The sheath is nice and holds the knife well. It does take a bit of practice to draw the knife and put it back, but that is to be expected.<br /><br />My only complaint is that, on one of the sheaths, the stitching was too high and I couldn't feed my belt through it. However, about 5 minutes and that was fixed.<br /><br />4.8/5 rounds up to 5/5.

I like this blade. It's quite sharp and the wrapping on the handle is nice. The paracord bracelet is nice, but getting the clasp to close is slightly annoying. Other than that, a great product to own.

The knife was perfect, so I'll give it five stars. However, the paracord bracelets are a wierd size.

The knife itself is overall good, about as large as I had expected(about 11 1/2 inches). <br /><br />The metal grade is AUS-6, so expect to need to sharpen it regularly. It is Stainless Steel though, to it tends to endure quite a bit.<br /><br />I feel as if this knife could, with some effort, chop through an 8inch log. This is not meant to be a replacement for an actual axe/hatchet, though, but in a pinch, this could very well get the job done.<br /><br />Underneath the wrapping, handle has a large hole in it, and is sandwiched in between two stick-of-gum shaped pieces of wood. The wood is placed there to add extra thickness to the handle.<br /><br />The cord wrapping of the handle is not Paracord. It is made of a thinner material, almost like the strings in a drawstring backpack. I chose to replace this material with actual Paracord, which yielded a better grip. <br /><br />The bracelet is a standard Paracord bracelet, measuring roughly 10 inches from each end of the buckle. When closed, the diameter is about 3 1/2 inches. I am a pretty scrawny fellow when it comes to my wrist, so I choose to wear it elsewhere.<br /><br />Overall, this is one of the best deals I have seen on this website. I would, and certainly plan to, buy another one.

I've had this little tool of destruction for about a month now. Throughout the time I've owned this knife I've, sliced, chopped, and stabbed numerous things and the blade is still factory sharp. The black on the blade has yet to be affected by the harsh conditions and the etched phrase gives it character. My only complaint would be the handle, the para cord handle is quite loose. I took it off and replaced it with some black electrical tape and it works just fine. When you hold this knife, you will always feel in control. The bracelet is great, haven't had much use for it yet, but I plan to take it hiking with me in a month or two. Great buy, great product, great company. Thanks BUDK.

This Knife is the very best knife I have ever wielded. The weight is perfect, light as a feather. The paracord bracelet is cool and makes anyone look tougher. I waited for this a short period and was worth the wait. Looks like the knife packs some punch (or cuts!). Thank you BudK for delivering and selling such a great knife.

It's an ok knife when you buy it on sale. But I have no clue what the para cord is for and its too small for me and I'm not even a big person. Get a sharpener because it's ok for a play knife.

It's a nice knife if you get it when it's on sale for 10 or less. I'm iffy on the grip, cause it's just wrapped not an actual grip. But the bracelet thing is an okay size for me, But I have no idea what it's for. Maybe you tie the knife to it and try to conceal it only thing is that doesn't work in reality.

Incredibly sharp knife. The engraving was a bit shallow and hard to see. Also, DO NOT USE FOR CHOPPING! Too much hand friction and the para cord handle slides off. Other than that, good knife.

I got this from a friend through a trade since he had two and I had two Timber Wolf Pocket Kukri Tactical Folding Knives (which I got through BOGO). We made a trade and it seemed pretty darn cool and rather sharp, but I did not like the length of the survival paracord at the end of the hilt. It really took up space and caused some distraction while testing it, so I make it shorter by making a knot, problem kinda solved. The second problem is the sheath and the edges on the dull side of the blade. They could have been saw edges, but they were just square points. These square points regularly get caught on the sheath when unsheathing or sheathing the blade. I find that rather annoying, but other than those two things, I like it =)

the bracelet alone is worth 10 bucks so the pair make a great deal , knife is great and bracelets cool at a great price

Overall, it's a very solid knife. It came decently sharp, and the paracord bracelet was a nice addition though not really necessary. It's a little light in terms of weight, and the nylon wrap around the handle is kinda cheap, so I'd recommend re-wrapping it with better material. That's the only reason I can't give it five stars. But other than that it's an excellent blade. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good knife to carry and use.

great knife for the price cheap handle though wooden shims held together with a strip of trash bag and then a bad paracord job still worth more than the cost paired with the bracelet but best to buy a decent cord and wrap it youeself

Decent blade. Not real sharp but easily fixed. Can't beat it. Complete no brainier. Every order should have this in its cart!

on first glance, the knife looks pretty cool. the blade come quite sharp and is effective for its price tag. the handle is awful. the cord that wraps the handle is simply awful. thankfully the knife comes with a paracord bracelet, which i used to rewrap the handle. the sheath is of course, cheap, but the blade itself is fairly sound. definately a good buy even if it wont hold up to extended use (not sure if it would or wouldnt), it still looks pretty darn cool regardless.

This is a great knife for the price of only the price $10 with penny shipping! It was heavier than I expected, which I liked. The handle, which is a hallow nylon cord, does its job as a grip, but won't withstand heavy use like lashing together a shelter. The blade comes fairly sharp and ready for action. Overall, a great buy!

i got this today and this is about the sharpest knife i have ever held. cut a 3 1/2 foot tall street cone in half and a 3 inch diameter branch off a tree. one problem though; the handle is hollow on the inside but has a block of wood taped inside of it then wrapped so it slid off pretty easily. i took the block out and wrapped it around the hollow handle so it won't come off again

This is a review coming from someone who likes to looks at knives both for their aesthetic value as well as their practicality. I have used many different kinds of knives, but I am hardly an expert. So, my honest, if somewhat inexperienced opinion: What I like about the knife - The blade came super sharp straight out of the box. Make no mistake, this is a *tactical* knife, a knife designed for combat and survival. The knife's front edge is very well suited for chopping and slicing wood, among other such things, and the steel of the knife will spark if struck against flint or fire steel. The serrated back edge of the knife, though, won't cut worth a damn, but it adds to the aesthetic appeal of the knife. The knife looks and feels very intimidating to use. I have yet to sharpen this beast. What I do NOT like - The paracord that makes up the handle's grip is not fastened securely. Granted, it's meant to come off, but come on. The underside of the handle has only a couple of thin pieces of wood taped on to the handle. The paracord began to slide off after a good few solid swings, which is a safety hazard; if you can't keep a firm grip on something this sharp, you could easily cut yourself badly. The least they could've done is added some width on the handle itself and on the hilt's sides to keep it from sliding clean off. (Incidentally, while testing the knife on wood, I sliced clean through the slack that made up the lanyard. Clumsy...) I would rate this five stars if it weren't for the handle's defects. The knife's business end makes the knife, of course, but I don't plan on swinging it around by the blade: a good handle topped by a good blade makes the perfect knife. I plan on either taping or wrapping the handle in something thicker and with more friction to compensate for the lack of hilt. Good buy, but be advised the handle on mine was not well made.

The bracelet I wear everyday. The knife the one time i used it made me very upset. as I was trying to open some coconuts the cord-wrapped handle completely fell apart. I tried to continue using it but it resulted in giving me blisters. Not a good buy.
