Product Description
United Cutlery's newest M48 Ops Combat Fighter is built for double duty on whatever special operation or dangerous mission you find yourself facing. From the powerful, full-tang tanto-style blade design to the military-style, reinforced M.O.L.L.E. sheath, each M48 Ops Combat Fighter is built to rigorous specifications for years of durable use and applications. The double-serrated backside is razor sharp and will saw through virtually anything you encounter.
Blade is 1/4" thick and super sharp. Spine serrations are totally cool and can saw a small tree. Super tactical and tons of mounting options for your gear. Would buy again.

AMAZING
Sharp blade, looking and the edge. Sheath is practical and MOLLE friendly. Definitely worth the buy, and not much of a wait with their quick shipping.

It's Survived Me...
This is one rugged and durable knife. Being a veteran, a diesel mechanic, and a consistent hunter/fisherman/hiker; this knife has survived all my abuse and trials. My only dislike is the "Made in China" on an American company's product, but oh well. It's still a good knife. I'm actually tempted to purchase the Combat Bowie and the Combat Machete to complete the set.

High Quality
5 Star in every way. Form fit and function impeccable. Heavy duty. I own over 175 knives. Almost all from Bud K. This one is in my top ten.

Good bang for your buck
At the current price this knife is a steal, but let's not jump ahead and say this is best knife ever. The no frills utilitarian approach to this knife immediately noticeable when you pick it up, along with the weight. The spine is 1/4" thick all the way to the oversized pommel cut out. The pommel is solid & can crush just about anything. The offset rows of teeth on the spine make for a wicked sawback that makes short work of tree limbs. The american style tanto blade has a false edge and the knife is balanced right in front of the index finger groove. Now the down sides: the steel used (420A) is very low end, but the titanium finish and thickness may negate any serious issues other than routine sharpening; the guard is just as thick as the rest of the knife, but it's only secured by a couple spot welds that will eventually fail; the grip is a bit square and is cheap polymer rather than G10 or micarta; the grips finger groove is too large for just one finger and too small for two; the sheath is made of lower grade codura with plastic insert and is decent at this price point, however, the junk cord needs to be replaced immediately for 550 cord. Based on current sale price, overall design, and tank like build I'd give it a 4 star rating.

Heavy beater
Came paper cutting sharp, nice heavy seems well built. Knife is not 16 inches long as stated, its 12.5" long. Seems like a good sturdy knife, will get years of use out of it. 4* as knife isn't 16" long as stated.
