Product Description
This tactical knife offers a simple yet highly effective full-tang design with a cord wrapped handle that extends into a lanyard.
I didn't expect much when I purchased this knife due to the price and I had never owned anything made my Tomahawk. When I opened the box and held it I knew I made the right choice. The knife is well balenced and was almost razor sharp out of the box. The nylon grips qualtiy supersedes any wraping I've seen from a manufacturer. I can already tell this is going to be a favorite

Solid knife that shaved my arm right out of the box. If I had to be critical the only thing I could say is it is so sharp the point was poking through the bottom of the sheath. I fixed that by cutting old credit cards to fit in the bottom of the sheath and bending them in half to form a v that receives the tip of the knife. Bought four during the $5 sale and am very happy I did. They throw very well too.

excellent product
This is knife for the long term. Don't get the wrong impression -- I love the variety, craftsmanship and creativity that goes in to so many knives. I have a collection of some very old, some very interesting, and some very historical knives that could be used for normal purposes. This is not one of those. This is meant for serious use on a regular basis. It sharpens easily, is impossible to break and surprisingly light. It is for anything needed and my first choice when hunting or camping. There are also some great "survival kit" knives out there, but they don't invite heavy use like this one. For example, I know I can use it for hunting if needed, and then clean game with it, cook with it, sharpen it and then find another job for it. There is no pommel or handle to break, and if the paracord wears out, so what? Just put new cord on. My only critique is that the grip feels a little small in my hand, so I might put more paracord on it

free knife
Definitely a real treat for free. I live in WV and it has been very cold hear. I have use mine to break frozen items free cut through car belts and hoses and various other random activities. I am and have always been very hard on my knives so one that can stand up to my punishment and just need a quick sharpening and not have any nicks in it gets a thumbs up in my book.

Excellent!
This knife was offered to me for free with an order I made and I gotta say what a great bonus. Very sturdy, firm grip, sharp, and fits nicely onto your belt, or into your camping gear. Definitely would recommend, especially for the price.

Full Tang Fantastic
Very impressed with this knife. Came out of the box already sharp and keeps its edge. Just for fun, I took the paracord off and felt the balance. Threw it like a throwing target knive and worked great that way. I figure if I'm out in the brush and things happen and I have this knife and paracord, I should be just fine. Great knife. Highly recommend it.

BUY THIS KNIFE
This knife is amazing. It is well balanced and very sharp out of the box. I love this knife. The paracord is cheap, but it is better isle you take the 2 pieces of wood that make the handle fatter, secure them with scotch tape, and then wrap the handle in gaffers tape

Great all Around!
The blade is around 6", even though it doesn't say, there are hardly any cons, seeing as its a knife for $10. But I find that my favorite aspects are the weight of the knife, well balanced for throwing, great for hacking, and it has a good edge right out of the package. I wonder how they turn a profit with the quality of these blades versus the price. If anything that I would want changed, it would be both the nylon grip and sheath, just be gentle on the sheath and it will last, like anything else.

Awesome
Yah this knife is awesome it came sharp and it works great for everything, i even tried throwing it and it works :) The sheath is sturdy and impenetrable. The wrapping got loose after a while so i re-wrapped it with the same string. Love this knife (:

Full Tang Knife
Just bought this knife a couple days ago and I have to say money well spent. This knife is made of a nice solid piece of steel and mine came razor sharp. One thing that I did not see advertised on Budk is that this knife is made my Tomahawk. Knowing that this knife is a name brand and not some no name product would have definitely made me purchase this earlier. The knife is received has the Tomahawk name and logo right on the handle on the left side. (not shown in picture for some reason). Best $7 I have ever spent.

Decent knife
The blade is pretty sharp, however, when I took it out of the box, the paracord handle was loosely tied. Other than that, I had no serious problem. Good knife overall

worth the bucks
Can't beat the price. Not sharp out of the box,but no problem with Good sharpening tools. I was concerned about cutting the sheath, however I copied another gentleman's review and used old credit cards to insert into the sheath, works great. Thanks for the tip Chris Sherer.

Great knife
Bought three for use in BOB's niceandsharp will replace the cheaper cord for 550 and possibly a kydex sheath later. They don't fit on my gear belt due to the Velcro for the handle is stitched thru the loop. Like the full tang and fits well in the hand. Will buy some more when I build my next couple of BOB's.

Sweet
for $7...you cant go wrong!! is it a gerber, kershaw, ontario, ka-bar? no way but i love it the same...no crazy for the squared notchedon back of the blade they are a little sharp on the edge, as well as the finger guards but that can be fixed with a little tlc and a file. glad is not razor sharp but d**n well sharp enough, already accidentally sliced me pretty d**n good. the nylon wrapping on the handle kinda sucks though, suggest re-wrapping with 550 paracord, easy to mimic the wrap style, or come up with your own. overall a GREAT buy. no knife is or ever will be perfect but the quality far outshines the price on this one! sheath it my favorite but it is simple and serves its purpose well! get one, or two...or h**l get ten and give your friends one!...oh yeh the weight is good too! not overly heavy but heavy enough to do some light chopping which i like!

Awsome..sometimes
So I bought two of these knives and I have to admit one of them was sharp enough to shave with right out of the box......the other one, not so much. The other knife was pretty d**n dull but after a quick sharpening it was as great as the other one. I would recommend this to anyone trying to get a sturdy knife!

nice knife, the vel-cro that holds the sheath to the handle came un-stiched the day it came in.but for just the knife is worth the price!!!
brian santoro Jun 23, 2011 (4 out of 5)
not bad for the price! knife needs to be honed and the handle could have been wrapped better but the blade is worth it! i suggest buying some new para cord and re wrapping it your self. but its definitely worth the money!

The knife is ok but the handle falls apart and it's skelitonized under the handle but it gives u 6 or more feet of parachord and a razor blade good for hunting or surviving
