Product Description
Double down with these twin fantasy swords. Each one features a 9-3/4" stainless steel blade with a futuristic handle design. You can combine the two swords into one fierce spear-style fantasy combat piece. A twist locking mechanism locks the blades into place securely, and they form a unique, futuristic baton when closed. A locking mechanism secures the blades into the closed position.
Made of pipe, and cheap press fit couplings. Mine has flown apart 3 times and that was even being very careful after the first time. Once you weld or epoxy the pieces together and find a good foam for the blades to sheath into, sharpen the blades, and some leveling, it won't be to bad. You get what you pay for eh?

Might want to be cautious when putting the swords back into the "rod" like form or you might accidently you know .... stab your self (X
I like how sharp the swords were :)

very impressed
these double swords a so great!! while it is in the baton it is very heavy but i like it like that so i don't care. the locking mechanism is great. i can tell that if u pull on it to hard it would probably break though. to put it in the full spear it has a thread that is very sturdy when being used. the blades are very small and skinny. more like daggers if you ask me. one of the blades came kind of loose but I'm going to try and fix that. all in all i am extremely impressed with this piece. i have bought many things from budk and this is by far my favorite. don't hesitate to buy it. thanks again budk!

i think this set is great there is only one thing with it i dont like and its that when screwed end to end in the middle its just the sliest bit bent but i almost could not even see that its so small of a bend so i still giving this a five star its great and you need to have it

This set is just too cool. When I pulled it out of the box I could swear I was holding Mini-Me's lightsaber.

Blades are not quite as long as the handle, which would have been nice, but when screwed end to end, it makes a stunning display piece. Also I know some had commented on the blades not lining up when attached this way. Mine were perfectly aligned when screwed end to end. The paint work is mediocre. If you're a perfectionist, you'll want some silver and black touch-up paint. Overall a Fantastic piece at a fantastic price.

Just got the twin swords about an hour ago 11:45EST.
They came faster than I thought they would. Ordered on the 19th of Dec. 2013 Receive them on 21st of Dec. 2013. So far so good. I like the feel of it. Has just the right weight. Feels more like an un-ignited twin lightsaber.
Overall I like the little guy. Only thing I can make a little fuss about; I wish it were a magnetic lock instead of a screw lock. For $24.99 I can live without it thought.

This sword is great. The only problem was that one cuff of the sword came off and so did the unlock button. But it's fixable if u know how to fix it

Got this for my roommate's birthday; he was yearning after this set. I inspected it before giving it to him: fairly nice! The paint in a few areas isn't straight/aesthetic, but I'm picky and its an otherwise small, unnoticeable detail.

The locking mechanism feels a little weak, but hasn't broken yet, so its okay. The sword tips are sharp, blades aren't (very expected), and making sure they align into the slots when closing up the duo is kind of annoying, but not horrible. Screwing the two together is kind of tedious, but once again, not horrible.

Overall, pretty good! He liked it. Said the balance and length was good - not too heavy, easy to swing and spin, and he WOULDN'T hit the ceiling with it.. which is always good ;)

Its smaller than it looks in the picture, but it still has nice weight to it. The blades on mine were very sharp, but one of the blades was kinda loose but i fixed it with some gorilla glue. When you connect them together measuring from blade tip to blade tip is about 46'. All in all its a good buy and the price.

a little smaller then i had expected but all in all its a good peice

The swords are a little worn and flimsy even for show, but overall isnt a terrible buy.

Overall really nice look to them, but the pain job needed a bit of touching up and then the ends are connected, the blades don't quite line up. Non-full tang kinda bummed me out, but as an aesthetic piece its interesting.

I like this sword set overall, but there are some issues with it. the paintjob could use a touch up or two. the locking mechanism is a bent piece of metal that is too easily bent out of position. the blade that houses the locking mechanism is loose and can come off with if it is tugged a little bit, i fixed mine with a some ducktape the actual button came off in my hand but a little super glue will fix that. when the handles are screwed together, the blades do not match up. i am not sure of a way to fix that. Over all, i like the design of these blades. the price is somewhat high for the quality of swords, but ya get what ya pay for.

its all metal, not to say that the blades are fuzed to the batons, but its pretty solid, and for almost 25 dollars, how can you not get these. you feel like an assasin just drawing the blades. the blades might wiggle, one of the bades that i got does. i hope it dont fall off. i only wish there were a 50 dollar version of this weapon. one with superior quality. otherwise, this is really sweet.

It is an okay set. My only beef with the set is that the spring that locks the two halves together is somewhat temperamental.
kiba hauck Aug 31, 2009 (3 out of 5)
well a lot of things are setbacks with this sword ... its really small and the blades dont align when is staff "mode" and !... its assembled in 4 parts but its glued into 2 parts but the glue on mine came off .... so i fixed that with some super duty glue but that was still upsetting ... this is strictly a display sword!

It's a satisfying piece for the purpose I bought it for. Must say that the minor scuffs and rough details would make it not ideal for a collection piece. Only real complaint is that when the ends screw together to make a twin bladed weapon, the blades do not align. Working on a way to align them currently. Other than that, great buy for its price. I have a lot of fun with them and would be interested in buying the bigger, nicer set as a collection piece. Ignore any dirt or grease on the blade since it's easily removed with a sword cleaning kit.

i liked these swords but the problem that i had was that it broke within not even a month of having it it was about a week when it broke but my dumbass self didnt send it back in and get a new one
Jeremy LaCount Dec 19, 2015 (1 out of 5)
Would rate zero stars if possible, I was expecting a cheap trinket for the price but it doesn't even qualify as that. What kind of swords blade just falls off after being out of the box for less than ten minutes. I knew the blades would be dull and flimsy, but to just fall off is a new one for me
Response: We apologize for this issue, we have checked stock and did not see an issue with this item but you are more than welcome to contact our customer service department at 800-735-3326 and we can get you a refund or a new item.

very disappointed
I would like to start by saying that I have purchased many items from budk and never have I been disappointed.. Until now, when it arrived I took a few swings and one of the blades just flew out of the sheath and it rattles a lot and the blades were rather dull when they arrived.. Very disappointing DO NOT BUY THIS
